Tesla Cybertruck ready for Robotaxi? | Tesla FSD 12.5.5 is REALLY GOOD

The Tesla Cybertruck finally has FSD. Tesla FSD 12.5.5. Also Robotaxi day is in a few days, on 10/10. If Tesla is so confident in Robotaxi being a real product, how would the Tesla Cybertruck do if it was a Robotaxi TODAY. It is using the very latest version of Tesla FSD 12.5.5. Surely it should be capable of driving me. Right?

if this was a robotaxi would you be charged for the miles accrued because the technology screwed up? if so that is a major issue that will really limit usage.

Hmmm - how do you explain $40 billion + revenue and millions of rides just for UBER every year will a large percentage of that in the US? It is probably an equal amount again for Lyft and regular taxis. The market is huge.

@@ralphpetry1745 but the market for personal automobiles is 3000 billion + it's like 2 orders of magnitude higher no one really wants to sit next to a stranger we are humans after all but I understand some part of us Are willing to do that for a short period of time. I am building a new personal air vehicle also not an air taxi for pretty much same reasons

@@ralphpetry1745 Uber ran over 9.4 billion trips in 2023 for $37 billion. Over 236 million people are licensed in the USA and they drove 274 billion (calculated) 'trips' in 2023. Uber's name penetration is about 45% today, however Tesla is close to 0% name recognition for rides. It generally takes about fifteen years to become well known nationally. ;)
