I took delivery on the 13th. Everything was great. I did have two small stains on the interior which they fixed but everything was perfect. No misalignments. No paint chips. I didn’t have to sign any paperwork. Just accepted delivery on the app. Unlocked the car through the app. And my key cards where secure. Oh!! The representative that has been helping me gave me a tiny model 3 toy car!!! Lol so cute

Most all vehicles before the 1980s were rwd. I’ve driven everything from front wheel drive, rear wheel drive, and awd...front engine, mid engine, etc....and let me assure anyone who’s nervous about the aspect of rear wheel drive...it’s completely okay and safe! Especially considering that the Tesla and all modern vehicles have built in stability/traction controls. You won’t be going anywhere out of line in the rain or snow.

I’m picking up my model 3 LR on Tuesday with the touchless delivery and I have to say for me I’m a little disappointed. I understand that is the safest way go with the virus and I won’t want it any other way at this point but I hope this isn’t a thing of the future. This is my first Tesla and I’ve seen videos of the personal touch Tesla provides at pick up. I wonder if maybe it was no big deal to you because you already own a Tesla and fully understand how everything works. For me, I ordered one without ever sitting in one and would probably have some questions even though I’ve watched all the tutorial videos from Tesla. I went with midnight Silver with white interior

Faced this back in April...No contact. Papers in car. Car is on the parking lot. Sign where X’s are! Leave papers on the outside table. Call your manager. Damn I’ve waited for this car for almost a year and this was so...soulless and sad. I took the car. Mixed emotions.

Get an employee to check it out they will go from there. A lot of times you’ll want to deny delivery and not even pick it up. Most of those issues are really rare now but we’re common back when the 3 first came out

Be sure to look above the license plate near the trunk lights. Tesla has had an issue with painting in that corner

Literally like 2 days! I had to rush my financing (not through tesla). Ordered on a Friday morning and they said Sunday it was ready! We had to delay it till Tuesday it was so fast

I actually custom ordered mine and it's being picked up tomorrow! A total of about 4 weeks! Very fast service! I took the Standard Range Plus with Metallic Gray Silver and black interior.

I use state farm and it’s really good for me mostly with multiple car discount and good driver etc. tesla apparently has good rates too but didn’t beat my statefarm. I would search around google for it. I heard Costco’s insurance is good too I forgot which company it is though. Being young in these type of cars will make it a little pricey though

What usb does it come with. I know you said it has wireless phone charging but below that pad does it still come with 2 usb type A or does it have a type C as well like the model Y?

Just like the Y. It has one usb C in front which is what the wireless charger is in. Then it has a usb for the dash, in back it has 2 usbc that was showed in the vid :)

I bought a Model 3 in 2018 on payments. Best car I’ve ever driven, worth every penny and saved lots of money with Tesla insurance 1350 for full coverage for a year in Pasadena Ca. AAA wanted over 3K a year for full coverage. They are the biggest rip off. Here is a helpful hint on getting your Tesla at a discount. Buy 10-20K of Tesla stock now on a dip. Hold till 2022 till it’s 1400 per share or more and take profit to get your Tesla of choice. I know this works, because I’ve made enough profit on my Tesla shares since 2018 till now to pay off my car 3x over (30K balance). But only problem, I don’t want to sell my shares, instead I keep buying more on dips. I’ll sell some shares in 4-5 years for a 4-7K share price. But if you want a Tesla at discount, you can do this. 👍🏻😀

Not for me right now. My dual motor in 2018 I didn’t get it because I knew it would take forever. This new 2020 model 3 I didn’t get it because 1. I wanted this to be as cheap as possible 2. I don’t really care for FSD right now mostly in an SR+
