Why I will not buy the BYD Seal right now ... *Blunt throttle response which is noticeable in all modes. *Hated the turn indicator sound and various chimes, it was a pain. *No built-in maps and navigation, which is a big miss for a car in this segment. *The software was a bit buggy. *Most of the controls are through the main screen, which is a major distraction and a safety concern. *HUD is useless in bright light and only displays current speed. I would have preferred a proper instrument cluster; this one is small and is busy with too much information on a small screen. Though I didn’t scrape anywhere, it will be a pain on slightly larger speed breakers and on bad roads.

BYD, 2185Kg VS Tesla M3, 1850Kg says a lot. In case you need more bad things about your first BYD series from China, ask me I have a lot more advantages of the TM3 :). But I'm sure your series 2 copy will be much better, thats my experience about goods from China ;).

I wish Tesla actually did that gear shifter on the newer models rather than it being on the stupid screen and saying it’ll make the right choice most of the time what that even means what about parallel parking one wrong choice and your screwed

@@BaneSIlvermoon I own the 22 model which have a gear shifter not being on the monitor so idk who’s smart idea it was to put it on the monitor they trying to make the car as minimalist as possible now even car reviewers have said why is the gear shift being on the monitor swipe up and down rather not putting it on the steering wheel or where it was before

@nicetomeetyou2457 k. I've got a 2018, also has stalks for drive/reverse. Not having them is a non-issue because I'm not going to suddenly forget that I need to be sure my car is moving in the right direction. I'm absolutely buying a 2024, and this is one of the improvements that sealed that decision. I guess because I understand my responsibility as the driver. I dunno. All I know is moving where I interact if I need to change whether I'm moving forward or backward changes nothing about what I need to do to drive the car.
