As I showed in the KZbin demo, I think the video quality of the screen is better than previous versions. Yes the installation is a bit more involved with this one given you have the built in speakers

hello always I'm a fan of the Tesla Light Show. I also installed this product, but there are various problems. Is there a solution? Symptoms of product malfunction: (1)Bluetooth music plays, but the connection is intermittently lost and sound is heard. (2) The wallpaper cannot be changed. (3) Incorrect Korean time display is 1 hour behind and cannot be changed. Resetting the product doesn't change anything. (4) This is an error in which the 2nd row air conditioner is not controlled independently and operates only after the 1st row is turned on. If you can help, I appreciate it.

I ordered this 7.5” screen display 2 weeks ago for 2023 MY and got it installed too. I got stucked with the wires in 2 front seats, It seems like the seats are different construction for the models after June 2023, It’s a lot harder to reach the screws. But It’s not necessary for me to install those anyway. But after 5 days installed, I had found some issues with product. The time lock is bug, but you can switch from “car time” to “android time” in settings, and then go to android settings enable “Time provide by internet or gps” to correct the time clock. The next is the screen saver seems doesn’t work either, unless you hit the power off button on the screen, the automatic dark theme doesn’t work right (you can’t save your configuration). Final thing I had found that you can’t minimize video window when watching video on KZbin.

Man, how did you remove the USB board from original vent. it is not only 4 locks from sodes, there is one more that you did not talk about it and thay keeps the vent tight 😢 how did you remove that one??

The previous models had a noticeable audio delay when connecting to the car's speakers, did they fix that on this version? Play a youtube video and play the audio through the tesla, is there any audio delay at all in lip sync?

Yes the delay remains but that is an issue with the car, not this device. I’ve noticed the same delay when I’ve paired my smartphone to the car’s audio system to watch YT videos

@@LudicrousFeed Yeah, that's right. The blutooth module in the tesla doesn't have the proper low latency components. I just remember Hansshow mentioning that it was fixed on this one which I found hard to believe. Thanks for your honesty! The fact that there's built in speakers and options for headphones is a nice touch though! How loud and clear is the built in speakers?

Hey mate, couple of questions. If I were to play a video when away from home wifi can this unit tap into the car’s premium connectivity? Or do i have to use phone’s hotspot? When playing a youtube music, can this unit broadcast the audio through the car’s speakers? Thanks

The Tesla does not broadcast a hotspot so no, it can’t be tethered by another device. The rear screen needs to use another device’s hotspot eg smartphone for connectivity. Yes you can play audio from the rear screen to the car’s native audio using BT connection

These plug and play kits are so easy to install. Ripping off a few panels(like taking a bandaid off), and unplugging a few harnesses are a dream in the scheme of things. I really think this kit would be better served just getting power from the car. Use it solely with hotspot from your phone. You could connect bluetooth headphones and your phone is the router. Use it like an ordinary tablet. Without connecting to your cars functions. Since I heard the drivers cannot listen to their music while the kids are watching a movie in the back.

With this particular version, it’s basically almost a standalone tablet - the rear passengers can access content ie YT, Spotify and either use the unit’s external speaker or BT headset to receive audio without disrupting the car’s main audio system

I've been waiting for a review video. I've been on the fence about ordering it but the only real reservation I have with it is the lack of vent control. I know they added Horizontal sweep but there's no vertical vent control so my passengers wont be getting any air to their face, just their knees :\ Could you share your experience with this?

Does some one have the "factory password"? It's not in their manual. The 10.25" screen from them also, the "factory password" was in the manual, but can not use it in this 7.5". Bought this one, problem that I have is the time, it's alway 6hours ahead. Manually adjusted, but next morning 6h ahead again. Not much help from the service desk, still no answer from them.

sí, probablemente sea demasiado bajo para soplar en la cara de los pasajeros, pero creo que hay suficiente flujo de aire para enfriar/calentar la segunda fila
