Thank you for the feedback! I'm still really happy with the T Sportline mudflaps. They've held up well, work well, and look good.

@@TheLifeofJoeLeethanks for making a video, it’s the only one YT where you can properly see it. I first bought front from Tesla but they do not look good and might damage paint. Now need to wash car and start attaching them 😁

Oh those are much better! The carbon fiber is a great touch.

i decided to go with Rally Armor mudflaps. This carbon fiber flaps is more for looks. i didn't feel like I will get much protection from it and I don't trust tape

@@Wankidy Rally Armor mudflaps provide serious coverage. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for the video and comparison. I am looking to purchase one of these. Would you still recommend t sportine over the OEM and how have they held up so far in protecting from rock chips. The coverage from t sportline seems narrow

The T Sportline mud flaps protects the front fender better but I don't think it protects the rear quarter as well as the OEM mud flaps. I've recently noticed some new, significant chips on the rear door and quarter panel. The mudflaps from RPM Tesla look like they offer more protection than the OEM mud flaps, but I'm not a fan of how they look on the car.

@@TheLifeofJoeLee appreciate the input. Was leaning towards the oem flaps anyway, glad to hear it does a decent job. The rear of the car seems to looks better without mudflaps hiding the tyres.

Between the 2 Mudflaps it sounds like Tsportline Mudflaps are the way to go? How’s the tsportline Mudflaps holding up? I’ve had my plaid for a week and I’m noticing the same thing with the rock chips on the rear fender. Debating on just ppfing the car.

@SupraSayianOfficial the Tsportline mudflaps are holding up well. I question how well they protect the rear fenders, but they certainly protect the front fenders better than the Tesla mudflaps.

I don't see how the front mudflaps will prevent rocks from kicking back. It doesn't seem to stick out enough.

Was cutting off a desired length off the bottom of the OEM flap considered? Would that have not worked?
@TheLifeofJoeLee10 ай бұрын
The design of the Tesla mudflap is for it to hang low. I felt that trimming it would impact its effectiveness. The material on bottom of the mudflap is pliable and could be cut, if desired.

Even on Subarus they look odd. Shouldve ppf’ed it from go like I did.

In hindsight, I wish I had applied PPF to this car. However, I think it is still a good idea to prevent pebbles and debris from hitting the body as that little strip of PPF on the rear quarter panel is all pitted on my car. The T Sportline mudflaps are more subtle and less rally car looking. Hopefully, they are effective.
