Need to ask a question when you were at the dealership filming I could have that nice feeling of knowing you were on the drivers on the left side of the car which I am use too. Then later when filming you behind the wheel it looks like you are on the right side. I know it is a camera thing, but don’t understand it.

Watch Adam the Woo when he’s on the road. You should do vlogs like that while you travel. Stop and see road side attractions, local restaurants, quirky museums etc. Show us what you find on your WAY to the next mini golf course. That would be really interesting and would break up those long drives for you too. Like you said, you spend way more time on the road then you do playing mini golf. You may as well get some content out of that too.

We love our new X Plaid - the falcon wing doors are amazing especially with a kid and dogs. No major issues when I picked up ours on Labor Day. Autopilot is amazing for road trips (even the free/included basic autopilot). FSD will change lanes, pass cars, and get out of the passing lane when necessary.

Just a note on screen protector - I have a 2020 S and put on a screen protector but after a short time I had both screens blacking out. When I took it to Tesla they could not find any problems but asked why I had a screen protector. They said it might be the problem. I took off the screen protector and have never experienced blackouts since.

Honestly wish it was enforced better everywhere. Im guilty of doing it too if theres nobody around me on the highway, but just chilling in the left lane with cars around you isnt cool The phone sometimes inverts the image when doing it in selfie mode. Tried to correct it but think it just made it look more weird 😅

Hey BHV, I had intended to comment sooner. Life gets in the way at times. You were saying you were going to a charging station to top off your battery. DON'T DO THAT. I own a part of a company in Upstate NY with my eldest grandson. Who are your age. We each own EV Test Vehicles. I own a 2021 Testla Model Y. We (actually THEY) build batteries and personal chargers for vehicles, homes, and recreation. So from a pro PLEASE listen and apply. 1. NEVER CHARGE YOUR BATTERY ABOVE 90%. It can cause certain cells to self ignite. As in FIRE.😲🔥💥🤕 2. If feasible keep your battery charged at/around 70-75%. That is optimum and most importantly recommend by the Fed. NTSB & U.S. Dept. Of Transportation.😏☺️ 3. Pay attention to YOUR own mileage. The factory info is merely an average of test track endurance. NOT REAL DRIVING HABITS.🧐🙈🙉🙊 And most important...give MeMe, Ronda, Faye, & my beautiful EMH an extra hug and smooch from me.😘💖🥰 Keep ya' wheels down good buddy. Jim in N.Y.

There has to be a day where there's some way to disable certain certain apps (social media, messaging, etc) while driving. Whether it detects movement, something. I dont know a great solution, but social media and smartphones have made the roads so much more unsafe. And thank you 😊

Somewhat. Every few minutes itll ask you to give the wheel a little resistance to show you're paying attention. I usually just rest my hand on the bottom of the wheel and it never asks me to do anything

Many drivers are becoming worse and I think a lot of them that come up on you to pass, just like to try to assert themselves. Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves and forcing someone to get over and get ahead of them only to slow down afterwards. I encounter that a lot as a motorcycle rider when I’m cruising along with my cruise control set and someone has always got to try to get ahead of me or pass by very close to me.

It turns on and off on its own when you get in and out of it, by detecting the key (phone or key card)

At a Tesla Supercharger, you do pay. You can charge at your house, and then it’s just whatever electricity it uses will be part of your monthly power bill. On a dryer style outlet (220V?), it can charge around 20-25 miles an hour. So it can fully charge overnight

For my friend to charge his Tesla at his house, he said around 200 miles of range costs him roughly $6 of electricity I think. So that’s when it becomes a lot cheaper than gas (price of electricity in different areas can have this vary a bit). If you ever want to test drive one to see it for yourself, if near a Tesla shop, I have a link in the description you can schedule a free test drive with.

For the most part been charging at home on a 110V, but also haven’t had to do much driving lately. But the little bit of supercharging I have had to do, the X charges crazy fast. Made it hard for us to grab food while it was charging and get back to it before it stopped haha

I love the white and black look now that all the chrome is changed to black, especially with the black wheels. I originally changed from the Ultra Red thinking I was going to wrap the car a different color, but now might just PPF clear wrap it.

Totally personal preference. Ill try to explain more in a future video why I feel its a good fit for me. Its not perfect, but does a good job. If you ever want to test drive one to see what you think of them, I have a link in the description for setting up a test drive :)

Definitely go for a test drive - they are pretty hands off - give them your license and they give you the key card and you got 30 minutes to drive around on your own to test it. If you’re a tech nerd or performance then you’ll see the appeal. It’s the safest car you can buy and most likely most technologically advanced but it’s all about what you personally value in a car.

I received a text from the dealership and still waiting for the vin on the app. I have a 2022 model 3 sr and 2023 model Y LR which i will be trading in. I was asking because I don’t remember how it went last time.
