300 miles range is more than adequate. With 400 miles of range or more, you're just dragging around a big battery you don't need 99% of the time. I'll take a smaller battery if I can get 300 miles and save money.

Well, battery accounts for 50% cost of an EV, so that make sense too. For everyday drive, 300 miles of range is far than enough. But for long road trip, thing need to be different
