Evan. It looks like the wiring harness came with your new wheel. Is this always the case? I have seen some videos where they have to switch the old wiring harness to the new? Thx.

Yea mine came with the harness. I believe there is an option to include this at checkout with hansshow. DO NOT buy from ali express. I have heard many complaints about this website with tesla accessories.

It looks good to me. As an old disabled owner of 2022 m3lr my interest in aftermarket steering wheels is the flat bottom portion. Would you say that the bottom of a yoke would give my right leg as much or more clearance than this wheel might? (I was both shot and shrapneled in a long past thing and the older I get...yada-yada)

The flat bottom in nice, I think it give slightly more clearance down there.

Love the new wheel bro!!! Just some friendly advice, you should never use the torque wrench to remove that bolt! You’ll break the internals. Definitely use it to reinstall it, as I would absolutely want that bolt to be torqued to spec. Do you happen to know what the torque spec is?My yoke is coming Monday, can’t wait to try it out! Keep up the awesome content! 🤙🏼

@@EMtesla1 so from what I have found is 98 newton meters seems to be the sweet spot. That’s pretty tight, I would think that should be sufficient. Might not hurt to try and source that yellow thread lock they use as an added layer of security.

I like the yoke, but again the yoke isn’t for everyone. First thing I noticed is the view blocked from the top portion of the wheel haha.

All the videos I’ve seen show replacing the center airbag cover is a nightmare and not worth the effort. Better to use the original center with the new wheel

How fat is that wheel. I have seen some images it looks thiccccc and others it looks about the same size as the Factory wheel. Specifically at the bottom.

While I do not have an exact measurement I can say it’s slightly thicker than the OEM wheel. Nothing crazy.
