Stopping every 2 - 3 hours makes the trip much more relaxing. Add on FSD and the only fatigue you have is from sitting in the seat all day. The seats are very comfortable by the way.

Just a little extra for ya. if are getting a wall charger ( level 2) not mobile charger. Make sure the electrician wires up a 60amp breaker to get the FULL 48v charging capabilities. I have seen so many friends and family with crap charging speeds because they don't put that 60amp breaker and I end up changing it for them and im not even an electrician. Makes a huge difference from 10%-80% charge in 6-7hours down to 3-4 hours. If you think im wrong just read the manual for the charger.

I like how clean your smartphone mount looks. What kind and where did you run the cord?

Thank you, it's one of our favorite Tesla Accessories. We have one in each of our Tesla's (paid for 1 of them after reviewing the free one) The wire tucks neatly in multiple areas to route to the armrest area. ---- MagBak Grab 15% off of iPhone Wireless Charger creators.magbak.com/tesla-tips-trips

@@TeslaTipsTrips I can't get the link to work. Do you have a referral code? I'm a Samsung Android guy, but I use a magnetic case made by Pitaka, so it might work anyway.

Have taken mine twice now down to Ensenada without any issues. There actually is only one supercharger in all of baja and fortunately it's in Ensenada. Haven't seen any other Tesla's or EV's down there yet. It's great while waiting in the long line at the border I've only lost 1% each time.

You are brave driving an EV especially going to Mexico.
@craigwflys2 ай бұрын
I know but I always go with my wife and her sisters who are from Mexico. My only other option is my 2023 F-250 which is technically a lot more expensive than my Tesla 🤷♂️

36 total minutes just on the drive down. not including up im guessing? i drive san jose to long beach a couple times a year. i can make it with 1 longer stop. or 2 shorter stops. but at least 40 minutes or total charging time.

That video is here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3-afoNop7mabKc Yours sounds about right. I prefer shorter stops if possible. Thanks for watching.

Having both a EV and Hybrid, the Hybrid is the way to go for road trips. EVs are great for around town and distances under 150 miles.

I couldn’t disagree more.

Tell that to my Model 3 with 105K miles of road trips. Coast to coast and north to south.
@Chevy2UАй бұрын
@stephencampbell9095 If you don't mind stopping every 200 miles and spending another 25 minutes to charge, more power to you. I travel from San Francisco to Los Angeles twice a month, my MYP requires 2 plus stops whereas my 6cylinder hybrid has more than a 1/4 tank remaining.
