Spotted the new Tesla Model Y on I5 today just south of Olympia Washington.

Actually, TESLA made significant Advances in manufacturing the Model Y, they are about Equal. cant wait for the Sandy Monroe teardown of the Model Y to see what they changed and what stayed the same. you can buy the Model 3 Teardown report for $70.

First off, nice job on the video. Really captured what the vehicle looks like on the road. Anyone else reminded how boring this car can look without any aftermarket mods? Especially the front end. And there's pros and cons to both, but as costs get lower and lower for the electric vehicles, and they become more efficient, eventually there will be little reason to go with an ICE car. For now and for a while it'll just be preference, which is fine. Sorry if my tone sounds a little aggressive

Corn Pop, 3 and Y look similar indeed. The biggest difference I can see is that there is another piece covering over the rear bumper, e.g. at 0:30.

It was the dual motor version. I would assume anything exterior may be intentionally left off during the testing phase... spoiler, wheels, etc Just a guess though
