@thevso LOL the irony. Wind Turbines are some of the most effective electricity generation. EACH turbine now averages 5MegaWatts. The sheer amount of power the generate is often MORE than the Grid can consume at the time, thus has to be BRAKED. It's a horrible mess, renewables have lots of problems. But the only myth is they don't generate enough.

Love seeing the E-Beetle scorch the competition….I had a “lowly” Beetle through high school so it’s gratifying to see it fly…..the Porsche Taycan beat it because of all wheel drive on that wet track

Seems kind of pointless for a drag race. What you want is to have so much traction on your hind wheels that the front wheels are just about to lose contact with the road. No point in driving them then. Or are you suggesting he should go rally driving with it or something? That would be an excellent way to see his work destroyed in seconds :p

At 17 some 25 years ago I owned three VW Bugs a Camper Van and I Micro Bus but with one working 1600cc with dual bells and a modified 1955cc and in the morning before heading to school I'd decide what body and motor I wanted to drive for the day. I had it down to under 30mins to swap motors from one body to another. Loved them but ended up moving to motor cycles and partially parallelized after sitting at a red light and a drunk uninsured illegal woman decided to turn me into a speed bump. I'm lucky I survived and it's been a long road just to get back caring for myself and driving cars again. Needless to say no more building or riding bikes but at least I can drive cars and my new hobby is building FPV Drones. Ive learned a lot about electrics systems these last few years when I was not able to move around much and have a drone that can do darn near anything, go anywhere, in any condition from tiny ones with night vision and audio to large ones that can push 200mph. I've been thinking about trying an electric car conversion. Curious of the BMS used and if this is a full conversion kit for 4 bolt VW trans? Check out my drones builds, link on my youtube about me page all are for sale and kick ass. Those posted are only a small number as I was stuck in a wheelchair and not about to get out and move around much so I have build more than I can count and really need to unload some.Thanks for the cool VW conversion vid!

Those traps speeds seem low for 600hp. What was your 60ft? Drag radials and this this thing should be in the low 10s. I absolutely love the car. So unique and such a sleeper.

LOL you clearly don't like serious driving. If you are driving and concentrating on the sound you are DOING IT WRONG. Fast Fun cars like McLaren don't sound great. But they are a thrilling experience where you are fixated into driving. Enjoying a nice engine exhaust is for Car Meets & Cruising slowly on the highway. Entirely different purposes regardless of ICE or BEV.
