I signed a contract in August for two Powerwall 2s to mate to my Enphase PV system, but in Oct I changed my order to have two PW3s installed. My order was changed and I am just waiting for supply to catch up to demand. The installer believes they will receive their PW3 in lat Jan. So glad we are getting the the PW3s. Two will provide all the power I need with my 12.5 kW system (31 Q-Cell panels and 31 Enphase IQ8A Micro Inverters).

The PW 3 is a huge improvement VS PW2 so glad to hear your order changed.. even if you need to wait it's worth it. Congratulations on your purchase

Do I need to use my Tesla power wall with solar? I want to use it pretty much for emergencies

You don't need solar to use Powerwall 3... I can charge from utlity ..Thanks for watching
