After the third car gave me an error on charge again, I was done. Tesla refunded me. I bought the Ioniq 5 and realised how you can have 100k car tech for half the price. Far, far better quality. @@lifewithkrisb there's no video of him on the road. In this video, look at the tire movement and the noise. Then you can see it's not only tyre noise
@LunnarisLP Жыл бұрын
@@M_H_H ok but when do you actually move around your steering wheel while on concrete without driving? Why not show how it impacts your actual everyday experience if it is so bad, why make a fakeass video while in standstill where the sound gets exaggerated by the tire noises? 2020 was indeed actually one of the worst years in terms of build quality for tesla though (it has massively improved since, there is a german channel of a repair shop for tesla that regularly checks the quality of the cars) At the end of the day this video pretty much tells you nothing about the build quality these cars have nowadays. Remember they only started making those in 2018, Model Ys in 2020, before they only made a small amount of Model S+X every year.

I don't have an EV and my car makes weird vroom vroom noises. I think I have to put a banana somewhere

Totally agree with the door comments lol. Yikes. And they keep jacking up the Supercharger rates. I think it's like $40 now for 400 miles of range, about the same as a gas car. And 2 hour wait.

The tires squeaking against the concrete😂😂😂
@The_Fat_Turtle2 жыл бұрын
That is not the tires on concrete, I can hear mechanical squeaking in that, like parts are worn out. I've heard tires on concrete a million times and never made this squeak.
@ZenerDragon Жыл бұрын
They redesigned the component which creates that squeak. Go to your SC and they'll swap it. They did my 2018 for free

Do you think the types of materials used to make the earlier 2010’s generation changed that much. The original ones seem solid. Then again they were 100k.

That is not tire squeak on concrete lmao. These comments show how clueless people really are. Go take your car to some smooth concrete and replicate that sound. That is clearly dry metal to metal.

I had the same issue, fixed with a grease pump and some grease, I remembered your vid and couldn’t find it since I fixed mine. That sound is unbelievably annoying and loud, it’s there every time you turn your wheel
@michaelcorvin5891 Жыл бұрын
😂😂😂😂 but this is on a slick floor of course it's going to sound like that 😂
@Jupa Жыл бұрын
No it's not. That's not tyre squeak, thats likely an issue in the steering column because it's a metallic sound. And in terms of slick floor, that barely even qualifies. You telling me that everytime you go into a parking garage cars are just squeaking around like that all over the place? sounds like hell.

Build quality complaints? Yes if you see similar issues across 20-50 tesla cars. For single previously owned car issues, take it to tesla and get it fixed under warranty.

Did you buy it with out driving it? Even if you did get it delivered you can take it in to be fixed. I have a 2019 and 2023 model 3 and Y and I have had no issues with either of them. 2019 got it used with 15k miles over 3 years ago and 2023 brand new. Love them both

You need new ball joints for your vehicle. I would see if that is under warranty and get that fixed before the wheel falls off. You don’t want that to happen if you are driving down the motorway.

Don't know if he trollin or being serious. Even if you were to get a defect on your Tesla you'd be lucky because its rare to get even small imperfections on them after they're built. And if you get this Tesla will definitely give you a brand new one at no charge. Thats how good their customer service is
