Operates the 2 top most productive automotive plants by output and sq footage on the planet for 3 consecutive years now! I could keep going but why bother right?

The sales of the Model S and X have also been shrinking or at least stagnating despite lower prices. Isn't there a rule-of-thumb that the size of the market doubles for every $10'000 less in price? But hasn't the sales of the Foundation Series shrunk to... zero? Isn't the production of the F series now over?

If Ford could cut a deal for a high output battery pack with like 400 to 500 miles range, they could command 80 to 100k . But with crappy range and charging, its worth less than a third of what it could sell for.

In the last part. Ford used the same roof and cabin that they use on their ICE truck. They didn't take into account the the Lightning is much heavier than the ICE F150.

I you are referring to the Cybertruck video, please understand they dropped the whole trucks weight onto the bumper before trying to tow anything. If you suggest every truck pass that test... you will be recalling 100% of every truck ever built.

As with any new technology, it starts off expensive due to R&D costs and small scale production. But once the tech matures and gets cheaper, and production ramps, then the price will come down quite a bit.

The Cybertruck competition is gas F-150, production of 5000 Cybertruck vs 50000 F-150. Cybertruck range is too low and not enough infrastructure. And the demand for CT is shrinking, 10 days delivery for a new order, no more 2M reservation.

Lars Please look into the cybertrucks lack of towing capability. There are a couple of KZbin's out there that show the back end of the Cyber truck is pulled off because they were towing A heavy load. It would be nice if you would cover that topic because if it's true, and it looks like it is, the Cyber truck won't be able to compete when towing? And for myself I want a cyber truck and I want to tow tow a camper behind it. So if towing is an issue, that could be a reason for people to stay away from it. I hope this makes sense to you.

I'm in Australia and it's unlikely the Cybertruck will be here anytime soon. However, BYD is releasing their Shark pick up truck for around the same price as a Model Y RWD. It has 30 kWh battery with 2 motors and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. I think outside of America, BYD is a force to be reckon with.

Well then another aluminum casting will crack instead. Really the design should maybe have a small breakable piece that is easy to replace. I suppose there will be tons of cases where the full weight of the truck will be dropped on the hitch?

But any shock loads an 11,000 lb. trailer (rated tow weight) could put on the vehicle as well as tongue weight should be designed or strengthened for. I have a reservation for a CT so I just want it to be the best vehicle it can be. I thought I would give it a year to get all these issues ironed out.

When placing an order, the waiting time is less than 14 days, and this tells exactly how well they sell. If there were really 100k orders, there should be 2mil 🤣 but in this case, the waiting time would not be less than 14 days..... would be several months.

Safe is relative... the impeded view from a pillar location and entirely blocked rear with stupid rear view mirror camera position greatly impairs ability to see around turns and creates massive blind spots. But you'll survive all the collisions you get into. Pedestrians you slam into won't be so lucky.

I hope they have an option for a bigger battery pack at some point and also a better towing bumper. As I understand it, the battery holder place has a lot of extra room. The new GM truck looks really, really nice, with a huge range. I would like to see that. Regardless, Tesla doing quite well with this, but I am thinking not as well as they thought despite them leading the other companies

The F150 is a much better truck for the money - Tesla ran through all 2 million reservations, turning < 50K to real orders. The Truck is just too ugly, terrible Frunk and weird rear bed. The Chevy is a really cool truck as well.
