Sadly Tesla doesn't not have installers in southern Illinois (20 miles SE from St Louis), what's odd is they do have Powerwall installers in my area and it turns out to be the same company I chose to install our PV system,. So we opted for 31 Q Cell 405-watt panels with 31 Enphase IQ8A Inverters producing 125% of our annual needs. WE oversized to cover future batteries, any system degradation and future needs. Today if I were buying batteries I'd opt for 3 Enphase 5P's which could provide WHOLE HOUSE coverage. But we are hoping Tesla offers their PW3 by the time we have to decide.

Hi, Thanks for your videos. very detailed and informative. Question, now that you have had it for 2 years and taking advantage of the Credits, Do you think is still valuable now that Tesla doesn't allow you to own or use the solar credits SREC?

Thanks for watching! Tesla has increased the SREC credit since I bought my panels so in the short term, yes take the credit but I'm the long term perhaps you could end up with more by selling on your own. A decent amount of work goes into that so for peace-of-mind I'm sure most owners would like to take the upfront credit than to have to broker the SRECs.

@@TeslaFamilyChannel actually, all new Tesla orders don't allow you to sale your SRECs. They are keeping all SRECs. They are asking all costumers to sign a document not allowing you claim SRECs.

Is this home on a TOU plan with the electric company? If yes, it would be interesting to see the dollar offset and not just the kWh offset. Meaning, in many parts of the country, the highest TOU peak cost is from after sundown to sometime during the night (e.g., off peak 9:01pm -- 3:59pm and on peak 4pm -- 9pm). The rates are often higher during that time (e.g., 36c off peak, on peak 57c). The Tesla software should allow you to enter the amounts and you will see a higher return value for the Powerwall.

Hello, where do you get your meter reading for SREC? Do you have two meters? One installed by Tesla and the other installed by utility? If so which meter do you read for monthly SREC meter reading submission? Thanks for these videos!

That for watching! I was shortly after install. I called customer service and let them know my project was completed and wasn't seeing data in the app. I could take up to a day if I remember correctly.

They installed my system on Tuesday and I still can’t see it . I tired adding it in the app and after the process it gives me an error and says to contact Tesla for ownership transfer . I don’t know where to call , customer service has gone way down. Some information is hard to find.
