I have a 2021 TRD pro and I love my xm radio. Dose it have xm radio? Or I have to throw my Apple phone on the app ?

It does but you would have to buy the radio extension, i would just use the apple phone app for it to be easier though

Just got mine today and installed it. Everything good, perfect fit as well but only one thing is the sound kinda low for me even i volume up to 30 and not good as oem head unit. Idk how to deal with this.

I didn’t have any trouble with my sound, maybe it could be that you didn’t fully connect the wires ? But if anything I would just message the company!

Hey bud just bought and connected the same Tesla style screen and everything works perfectly but the radio and microphone. I noticed you had the same issue with the actual radio working. Did you ever figure out the issue? Also let me know about the mic when making calls. I can hear the other person but they can’t hear me.

I think you have to choose the tesla style mic for it to work in the settings and for the radio i never looked into it since i don't listen to it. I mostly only use apple carplay

I ordered a Tesla style for my Infiniti QX60 but in mids of installing I couldn’t get the AC / HEAT and back up camera to work. Maybe I need to program it? Lol but I see it worked well with yours right away so now I’m all confused

idk about the 2014 Tundra but the steering wheel controls do work on my Tesla style radio (2017 Tundra)

actually no, no dashboard lights came on. I'm assuming you're asking like oil or hazard type of lights. everything went smooth. i have a 2017 tundra !

The WiFi you’re using, is it from your cellphone hotspot or is it the WiFi from the head unit? I only ask because I have a 2021 1794 with the built in WiFi and wanted to retain that feature.

Yes I was using my phone hotspot, my truck is a 2017 so I couldn’t know if the head unit would mess with your built in WiFi. I do know the T-style radio model I got is for 2014-2021 tundras.

Theres an extra harness of wires for the 2021 & up Tundra trucks, yes my steering wheel controls still work. If you do buy it make sure you buy the model for your exact truck/year

I have the same issue with the speed but my unit came with the custom truck on the main screen since that’s the make/model I put when buying the unit.

I’m not sure, my unit came with that one bc when you order it they ask you questions about the truck make/model/year to make it personalized. Idk if you’re able to ask them to put a different color for the truck.

I would definitely still recommend it, it makes my whole car look newer but there might be an upgraded version. I would look into that if i was you.

It's isn't worth it 3 years later. Those units have lots of glitches, I know I have once. The company won't even back up their products.. if you buy one, get insurance and replace it when it starts to go bad.
