@@PENNYLS1 it is an aftermarket radio that looks like the original MyLink radio. So it turned out that the radio fuse was blown out, I changed the fuse and it is working fine now without pIuging that extra wire that I thought needs to be plugged in.. Now there is another issue, the dashboard illuminates very dim whenever the new touchscreen radio is on. When the touchscreen is off then the dashboard illumination lights as normal, do I need to change a fuse or something to fix this ?

after 5 months what do you feel about this radio? I am considering having it added to a 2015 Chevy Malibu. I wasn't happy with a previous aftermarket radio that I had installed.

Overall I’m satisfied. The only issue have sometimes is when it’s connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot. It will randomly disconnect itself. I mainly use Apple CarPlay and I have no issue with that.

Yes. I’m running a set of Skar components in the front doors and coaxials in the rear. Loud, clear and great mid bass. You’ll blow the factory speakers with this head unit.

So far what I’ve noticed is that it only works with an Apple brand cord. I was using an after market cable and the phone wouldn’t charge or connect to Apple CarPlay.

It sounds really good. The built in Digital Sound Processor is better than any built in one I’ve ever seen. It’s running my Skar 6.5 components up front and 6.5 coax in the rear doors. The clarity is amazing as well as the mid bass

It’s doesn’t have a SIM card slot if that’s what you mean. However it does have Wi-Fi. I usually connect it to my phone hotspot

On aliexpress I found a backup camera that fits into the factory malibu license plate light right in the bumper. It's cheap so i ordered it to give it a try. Still might go with oem later on.

@@dsfb8785 it works the same as for temp settings. The touch buttons are small tho. Hard to adjust while driving taking your eyes off the road.

@@dsfb8785 it does get hot enough but what I have found is I have to turn the defrost on for it to heat up fast. Other than that it works fine. I’m going to do update video since I’ve had it for a while now
