So cool. I can't wait to see how this project goes. I've always loved the 300ZX and I'm routinely impressed with your work. Looks like you've got a good start here.

Good tear down video! One feature that I would be interested in is a conversion of cab air filtering. It has always bothered me how many fumes and gasses enter into the interior of a car while city driving.

Cool new project, can't wait to see the end result. Tip for future projects though; Before starting the teardown of a classic try to get either a Haynes manual or manufacturer/dealer official one. Those contain how to assemble/disassemble the entire vehicle, including torque values, schematics for the electronics (including colour coding/voltage and resistance values), and more

2:35 Not sure if you know it or not but I'm gonna leave it here anyways. the fast blinking of the indicator is called "Hyperflashing" which is caused either by a faulty indicator relay, or the wrong type of relay used for the bulb (or LED lamp). the relay works by cutting off the power when the current draw reaches a certain level then it switches to the off position which then goes back on. this being said LED lamps draw very little current so when the relay cuts off the current quickly reaches 0 so it turns back on. for this purpose you have to use either a new relay for the bulb OR thewiring has some issue with it. or if you want to change to LED lamps you have to use LED specific relays. keep in mind, newer relays are Solid State relays which are much much more reliable BUT they don't have this tick tick sound, so companies add the "tick tick" via either a buzzer or the speaker themselves... love the process by the way🙌🙌Keep up the amazing work!

Is it possible the power steering module in the footwell is for the HICAS rear wheel steering system that some of these had? If so, you'll have to figure out either retrofitting it to work or disable it if it hasn't already been done. That system failed pretty frequently in most owners disabled it instead of fixing it.
