I have watched quite a few of your videos now, and although I am sure it is an unintended consequence, you have basically talked me out of ordering a 4680 Model Y. You might not be aware of this, but every video sounds like you are making excuses for having the Model Y. I am 6'2" and would likely have the same problem seeing out of the car, and like you I'd want a speedometer in front of me. All through your videos, you kept giving me reasons not to want one. That's not anything bad and I appreciate the honesty. I also want to mention that in test driving a friend's Texas Model Y 4680, when plugging in at a low state of charge the car jumped quickly to the 210 - 220 kW range and held that speed for quite a while. Not sure why there would be such a big difference between his car and yours. We also seem to experience a little more phantom braking than you did.

Nice! Seems like several are selling the same display. Tsportline, Hannshow and others. Maybe install a swivel mount for the display. Would love to know if it works. My Austin 4680 AWD should be arriving next week!

Do you still have this mini display? Do you know how to reset this mini display? I have this screen too. Today it gets a problem after 10 months usage. Currently my model Y shows 54% battery, but this mini display shows that I have 0% battery and the range is 900 miles @_@. Have you ever experience this problem ?

Mine still works normally at the moment. Unfortunately I don't know how to hard reset. Perhaps there's a firmware update available

@@RyuMoto did you get update firmware from your tesla (not hansshow) lately? What is your tesla firmware now?

@@Bryan.Nguyen I do automatic updates so I'll have the latest that Tesla pushed to my vehicle. No idea on the build number though

what about the different UIs while the car is in motion?

Animation is non-existent when in motion. It's just the numbers that change so there's really not much difference

What firmware version does your display have?

I just installed my 5.2" display. it works great. The problem was . it was so hard to press the cover together with the collum cover that the clipps on one side broke off. Can the screen be removed and attached to the new cover if Hansshow would send me a new one?

Sorry to hear that. I'm not surprised. I bought a Carlinkit Android module for Teslas and it doesn't work. Their customer service is awful

@@jonathan5354 I know it's not a touch screen. But gives me the information needed without having to look at the larger display. After 6 months still works great.
