What's the redline? That 370whp sounds like its an amazing drive. Thanks for explaining the cams not liking 2-3k rpm on the freeway. Also what fuel system you got? Is it on E85 or pump or race gas?
@RyuMoto2 күн бұрын
@@Unicornpirate redline is a great question. The valve train is built to handle 9k+ but it's the stroker portion that caused me to drop redline to 7500 from the stock 8200. With my current header and exhaust setup she loses steam above 7500 anyway so that's a restriction so I might as well drop the redline to maintain reliability. The torque curve starts so low now there's really not much point to rev it so high but I still can if I wanted to. With a custom header and open mufflers I think she's got another 10-20hp at the top end 🤷♂️

@@RyuMoto Thanks for the reply. Yeah I figured the redline will drop with the stroker. Is there any way to get back that 8200rpm or at least 8000rpm? Also I thought ITB's would help with the top end no?
@RyuMoto2 күн бұрын
@@Unicornpirate the motor itself is built to do at least 8.5k. the piston speeds calculate within S2000 AP1 specs so you can rev it out if you want. As I mentioned the restriction in my setup is in the exhaust now, not the intake and then given the Dyno power curve and how much power this puts out already, I have more than I need so I chose to add longevity and capped the rpm. RPM kills any ICE engine.
@UnicornpirateКүн бұрын

@RyuMotoАй бұрын
You'll notice the lower BB for sure. I also have to run much higher gas pressure in the shock. I run about 25% as my happy point
@RyuMotoАй бұрын
You can get away with less sag/higher pressure and slowing down the shock. This also helps bring up the BB. This setup isn't for everyone though but might be worth a try. Just depends on your local riding conditions

@@RyuMoto I'm in NM so def a lot of chunk, so was worried bout rock strikes. Did you end up keeping it for your setup? Also did it affect cornering in anyway? Since you said you're riding less on the front end
@RyuMotoАй бұрын
@@talesfromthetrailz it definitely helps compliance in the high speed chunk as long as you're damper can keep up. I'm on the Ohlins air shock now since the stock fox blew up. Cornering the Yeti in general is kinda harder cuz you have to ride it so aggressively in the front so if anything the weight transfer moves to the rear with the lower BB so you're gonna have to adjust a little. Hope that makes sense. At the end of the day... It's cheap enough to try. I've thinking of taking mine off since I'm riding less chunk with the sb150. That job went to my Turbo Levo now

As stated in the comment, hard to find anything regarding stiffening up a pony wall. Your idea of using the pipe with attachments and anchor bolts is good. It would seem for good stiffening you have to put tension on the pipe flange at the top to the downwards direction. Did you do this by fitting the pipe and flanges in that space slightly shorter the the entire distance and then put in the horizontal 2x4 block and attach the top flange and finally tightening the bottom flange bolt nuts to apply downward compression top 2x4 block for stiffening?

I lifted the cover of mine to verify my MME had not fried the relay. But one of the other comments below indicated the beep code indicated a stuck relay, and he was told by Enel x support to get a mallet and hit the right side of the box. Percussive maintenance is free. And it fixed mine. I still bought the part on eBay in case the fix is temporary.

Bought my juice box 40 pro at the end of 2017 and charged my Spark EV, Bolt EV, and Model X without issue. The first time I plugged in my E-tron, it charged to full and then started giving the 5 beep error, indicating a stuck relay. I tore it apart and the relay contacts weren't stuck, but they were a bit discolored. I have the EVSE on a 50 amp breaker and the e-tron can allegedly request 48amps. After plugging it in, I took a quick look at the e-tron's dash, and it said it was pulling 8kw, so I think there's no way that it was pulling in excess of 40amps.
