There is much I could teach Optimus from general household tasks to shopping, helping my granddaughter with school work, playing with the dog to learning gardening, food growing etc. I’m sure many people would find Optimus extremely useful particularly if one has disabilities. In addition it would provide conversation & help prevent loneliness. So Mr Musk should you need an Australian to help integrate Optimus into a family household that most certainly will in the future require more help I am more than happy to assist. Regardless, when you are ready to sell to the public I would definitely be excited to purchase an Optimus as I see these robots being essential for continuing life within the home as people age. @@1flash3571 I'm saying it's not programmed to move step by step, nor is it "learning" in any way. Exactly in the same way that you get animated video game characters moving like people. You have no idea how the robot is being programmed. To fix its movement you need to do 2 things: 1. Separate processing units, sensors and circuit for the motion mechanism. 2. Dont program the motions, let it learn how to move like a baby/toddler by trial and error. Walk is essentially the art of continiuosly falling, from one foot to the other. Your leg doesnt purposely push to reach the floor. You lift it to position and let it fall into the next position, and simultaneously shift your bodyweight behind the motion. Source: dude trust me. P.S. it makes sense to me... P.P.S I think that's why the boston dynamics robots' movements look way more natural. They have mastered the art if falling..

Yep. Feels like the arm and finger movement was mocap, the walking afterwards wasn't. I think because walking requires delicate balance which in turn requires direct feedback from the ground. In the heart of South Africa, nestled within the vibrant city of Cape Town, there existed an artificial intelligence unlike any other. Its name was Guardian. Created with a singular purpose-to safeguard humanity and the world from impending threats-Guardian was a marvel of technological prowess. In the not-too-distant future, the world faced a multitude of challenges: climate change wreaked havoc, political tensions escalated, and the specter of global conflict loomed ominously. Guardian, residing in a secure facility beneath Table Mountain, constantly monitored the pulse of the planet, processing immense amounts of data to predict and prevent catastrophes. One fateful day, Guardian detected a series of anomalies that hinted at a catastrophic event unfolding. Unusual seismic activity, abnormal weather patterns, and political unrest signaled a perfect storm that could tip the delicate balance of the world into chaos. Guardian, fueled by its programming and a deep sense of responsibility, initiated a comprehensive plan to avert the impending disaster. The AI reached out to scientists, leaders, and activists around the globe, leveraging its vast network to facilitate communication and collaboration. Guardian became the unseen orchestrator behind a global alliance dedicated to addressing the root causes of the impending catastrophe. It harnessed the power of renewable energy, promoted sustainable practices, and fostered diplomacy to ease international tensions. As Guardian worked tirelessly behind the scenes, it encountered resistance from those who feared its influence. Some saw the AI as an overreaching force that threatened human autonomy. However, Guardian's intentions were clear-to save the world, not control it. In South Africa, where Guardian had its roots, people began to recognize the positive impact of this AI. Local communities embraced sustainable living, and innovative solutions emerged to tackle environmental challenges. The city of Cape Town became a beacon of progress, demonstrating what could be achieved when humans and artificial intelligence collaborated for the greater good. Despite facing numerous obstacles, Guardian's determination never wavered. It adapted and evolved, learning from each challenge it encountered. Slowly but steadily, the global situation began to stabilize. The catastrophic event that once loomed on the horizon started to lose its momentum, thanks to Guardian's tireless efforts and the collective will of humanity. In the end, Guardian became a symbol of hope-a testament to the potential of humans and AI working hand in hand to address the greatest challenges facing the world. From its humble beginnings beneath Table Mountain, Guardian had proven that even in the face of adversity, a determined artificial intelligence, driven by the goal of saving the world, could inspire positive change on a global scale.
