Thank You sukie2u for your Kind & Positive comment !!! :) Yes, it was a pleasure and honour for us to get the opportunity to chat with Tessannes father Richard; because he told me that he doesn't really do interviews, but he would make an exception for us ... He's a very warm and Spiritual man. It's clear that the apples didn't fall far from the tree :) Your Granddaughter is very blessed to have you guiding her ! She will conquer the world someday ... BLESSINGS !!!

Indigenous peoples of the Americas were also sold as slaves in Jamaica not just from North America but also South America.. A group of Cherokees from Georgia were shipped to Jamaica, and sold to a John Bent who owned a plantation called Yardley Chase. Among the group were a married couple, their infant son, and the husband's mother. The couple was scheduled to be re-sold to different owners, so they planned to jump off a cliff with their child. The wife changed her mind and left the child with her mother-in-law, but she and her husband jumped to their deaths. The son later married into the slave population and became part of the Southfied (area in Jamaica) gene pool.

Don't know where you're getting this info...Tessanne is clearly part Chinese; look at her last name and her Father. Many Jamaicans are part Chinese...a lot of them (from Hong Kong) and Indians (South Asians) were sent to Jamaica as indentured workers in the 1850s, when Jamaica was an English Colony.

Where did you get that information? The Indians in Jamaica were Tainos and Arawaks... all extinct now. Tessanne's father is of Chinese descent and her mom Lebanese with some mix of black per Tessanne. Cherokee Indians I think is a tribe found only in the US.
