What's with the tape at the bridge? Is it used for reducing noise aswell?

I believe he explains it for a sec in the video.

That tall guitarist that makes me think of Bigfoot has a higher voice than I expected. Regardless, TesseracT is brilliant. You'll be my favourite band for a good while I reckon ;)

Really surprised he went with a tuen-o-matic bridge instead of a hardtail. The range of intonation adjustment is so small on tune-o-matics, and he uses a 27" scale to help with intonation with lower tunings so I would have thought he would have also went with a bridge with better intonation adjustment. It's also weird to see an Ibanez RGD with a tune-matic lol

Am I the only one who thinks that using the Ax FX II in the studio and the ultra on tour is a bit backwards? I mean the Ax II has more features than the ultra, and can do scenes, which could make setlists easier for them, especially for touring.
@digitaltourbus8 жыл бұрын
I wish I knew more about this stuff personally. What you're saying makes sense, but I'm assuming they have their reasons.
@JosephAnidjar8 жыл бұрын
the II sounds better and is way more expeez then the ultra so for touring it makes more sense to bring something thats easier to replace. and they didnt say that they had two axefxII. they might have one just for recording
@digitaltourbus8 жыл бұрын
Joseph Anidjar Thanks for the info!
@WiresAndChords8 жыл бұрын
Likely things like scenes and setlists are moot when you've got external show-controller (the laptop) making all your patch changes anyway.
@AcleKahney8 жыл бұрын
All the tones on Altered State and Polaris are recorded with the Ultra which is why we use them live. Havn't found a tone that quite works for me with the II yet!

all this stuttering and the look on his face, i watched several interviews with him and yes he is kinda shy but this time it seemed like he was in some state of shock. normally he is a bit shy but also very calm guy.

alpenjodel24 There was something going on that day that had the guys on edge a bit. I can't talk about it, but that might be the reason.

I am surprised to see professional musicians use a windows laptop as a driver for their whole show. Imagine if it would restart and install updates in the middle of a show :-O Or maybe Windows nowadays has gotten more stable. Or they just don't connect it to anything, ever.
@digitaltourbus8 жыл бұрын
I can almost guarantee that a Windows laptop wouldn't give them any issues.

Get a proper hardtail bridge, and you won't need to tape behind that piece of shit tunomatic.
