I liked how you were thinking of Periphery when you mentioned Spencer by mistake. The parallels between these two bands are unmistakable, but I think Tesseract has an edge to them that is lacking elsewhere.

I agree. Both bands do awesome job of combining harsh and clean vocals. Periphery is my favorite but Tesseract is up there on my list.
