Tesseract Modular Step Fader MK2. Powerful eurorack step sequencer. Full tutorial and patch tips

The Tesseract Step Fader Mk2 is an improved version of the original Tesseract Step Fader; a 16 step CV sequencer with quantiser that can also be used as dual 8 step sequencers. The new edition packs a host of useful features, with CV control over many parameters, a quantiser and the ability for one sequencer to modulate the other. In this video I'll show you how this module works, how to program it in your patches, and give you some musical tips.

A few notes on the video: the CV outputs VOUT1 and VOUT2 always reflect the values of the faders. Enabling or disabling a trigger on a step will only affect the Gate/Trigger output for that sequencer. The Slew limiter outputs are not quantised. The output range is currently 0v to 5v. The knobs for the inputs aren’t attenuators but instead add a positive or negative offset amount to the input voltage (see the manual for details).

Hi, great video. Thanks. If you know - if you feed external CV into the quantiser, I assume that overwrites the slider cv? (and if so, what happens to the slider cv?) Or can it quantise the slider output in addition to quantising an external signal, per channel? (meaning i could create 2 sequences on the stepfader, and then also process 2 other external sequences through the quantiser?) Thanks to anyone who may know the answer
