Regardless of what we each like, this is their strongest effort. The band took their best strengths and took them to a whole new level. This is the only tesseract album I like more than One. They're all good but I never thought they'd top One until now.

Y'know it really amazes me how Tesseract have come full circle vocally. From a decent amount of screaming on One (still very good but fairly amateur), completely getting rid of screams on Altered State, and then slowly building them up again with background screams on Polaris, some more forward ones on Sonder and just the straight up savagery on War Of Being. Immense.
