I still see kaleidoscopic visions when I close my eyes to this album, pictures that are beyond the strength of words to explain. When it comes to music, I listen to pretty much anything. But of all the music that I've ever heard, nothing has made the same impact on me as Tesseract does. Concealing fate was amazing. One was unique. Perspective was beautiful. Altered State was mesmerizing, and I think that Polaris will be mind-blowing. Let's just all appreciate the amazing talents in this band, those who were and those who are. I loved every single vocalist, but for me, Dan will always be the best. Such an amazing singer, happy he's back.

Great song, really. In my opinion, it's quite different from what TesseracT has written before, in it's structure. Survival has a bit more of a typical "Verse-chorus"-structure than their other material. The rest of it strikes me as more progressive in that manner. Of course, this still strikes me with those gorgeous TesseracT-vibes I've grown to love, and it's mind blowing and unique. :)

I thinks that's what throws people off with the way the song is structured. I love it, but it leaves me wondering how it would sound without the "verse-chorus" structure. I had to critique but I feel this song would have a lot more emotion if it was structured differently. But then again Tesseract writes what they want to write, and that's why I respect them.
