Cozy She Shed...Whoot Whoot! NICE JAR!!! I love the bloopers. Looks like a vintage ice cream scoop! My grandmother, whom I lost at 6, had hydrangeas and that is what I remember and love about her. Her name was Lilly.

When I was a little girl I lived in London. My mum had a beautiful blue hydrangea by our front door. She called it her fridge and kept the milk and dairy products behind it as it was so cold. Happy memories💖

Hydrangeas are my favorite flower. The blue like that is my absolute fave, followed by the old school hydrangeas that grow into small trees. Lovely 😊 as always....🧡

Oh wow! My grandparents used those square containers every year for garden produce and putting them in their “deep freeze” as they called their chest freezer. Sweet memories of going to the garage and choosing a couple of containers for supper.

That is a old fashioned Ice Cream scoop. I have one I found at a roadside flea market about 10 yr ago and I love it. Mine is all metal and the handle can get cold really quickly. Have a blessed day.

That is not a bad price for those big glass jars ! I love the vintage scoop ! What a neat find with the German candles. Been busy, busy , busy today - freezing Swiss Chard & Black Berries. Hubby picked about 8 gallons of green beans, so I've been canning them ~ not all ~ we gave 5 gallons to a neighbor .

Your thrift store is filled with amazing finds and the prices! wow! we have a thrift store but the prices are steep. As an example, they were asking $5 per pint jar. They aren't antique or colored or anything special. I can purchase a dozen new with lids and rings for less than $10 at the local Tracker Supply or even Target. You did great and don't have to justify whatever you purchase, certainly not at those prices. Good finds and beautiful garden and yard. I know how much work it takes, believe me I do.

Tessie, your hydrangeas are gorgeous! Such a beautiful blue! I loved this video. You find so many neat things at your thrift store at great prices. I liked that you got those candles and I'm curious as to what you will use your basket pitcher for. My hubby and I just moved from Belgium back to America back in December with the military. In Belgium, we had to speak French to communicate with the locals. In French, the word for candle is "bougie", pronounced "boo gee" with the "g" being pronounced like the g in the English word "mirage", but is not really there. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and homestead. I find it comforting as my parents were homesteaders too.

My first job at fifteen, was working at Biltmore Dairy Bar. After tourists visited the Biltmore House they usually stopped by for ice cream. It was made there from the dairy farms’ guernsey cows and it was wonderful! Those ice cream paddles were used to scrape down the big tubs of ice cream. Ours had metal handles to withstand staying in the water with metal ice cream scoops. By the time I left there on Sunday evening you would never have known my uniform started out white. 😂 Awesome find! ❤️
