Been digging your videos man, we use a lot of the same gear. I have this drum head but haven't tried it yet. What sticks do you prefer? I'm going to buy new sticks today. Was thinking of sticking with the 5A's from Vic. But I like how pro mark feels too

Personnaly I've tried some 5b drumsticks by Proorca recently, I will do a test video with it Friday, it's not a big brand but they do very cool. But before that I was only using 55A by Vic (this is between 5a and 5b) and I recently bought on amazon 55a vater and promark drumsticks, I'm gonna try it also later so stay tune ;)

no acoustic treatment? did you have a drum mat. what are the walls made of? sorry for the 20 questions its just that im building a studio in my garden and i really would like to get something like that sound. would be great if you could take some pics. sorry to be a pain

You're not a pain dude ! I'm gonna try to explain with my bad english : So first thing first, it wasn't a room at the beginning, my drum set was in my basement, and then we did a room, with basics tiles on the ground (no choice because this place was to damp), the ceiling was already with polystyrene, and the walls are just plasterboard walls and some of them have polystyrene on it too, and then we covered it with wallpapers to make it more "not ugly" ahaha that's it, there's not specific acoustic treatment, i hope i answered your question :)

yep great answer. polystyrene will be a good cheap first treatment. thanks for your time 😉
