Test Canon EOS R8 - Un mese di fotografia wildlife in Sudafrica

Ho trascorso più di un mese in Sudafrica testando la nuova Canon EOS R8 per Canon Italia. L’Africa per un fotografo e video maker di natura è un una continua sfida. Gli infiniti spazi, i colori, gli incredibili animali che vivono in queste terre rendono magico ogni istante.
Ma quando si parla di catturare queste istanti con una macchina fotografica cambia tutto, serve concentrazione, creatività e soprattuto un attrezzatura che ti aiuti in questa impresa.
Ho testato la nuova Canon EOS R8 in ogni condizione, dall’alba al tramonto. La nuova mirrorless molto maneggevole e leggera ha al suo interno un sensore full frame di ultima generazione. La qualità è incredibile, specialmente in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione.
La cosa più impressionante è la sua velocità, fino a 40 fotogrammi per secondo con l’otturato elettronico, quindi incredibilmente silenziosa.
Con questa velocità di scatto non è difficile cogliere ogni istante nel movimento di un leone o nel volo di un uccello. L’autofocus, con il riconoscimento del soggetto, segue ogni movimento dei soggetti sia in modalità foto che video rendendo questo prodotto perfetto per chiunque vuole ottenere grandi prestazioni da una camera leggera.

I spent over a month in South Africa testing the new Canon EOS R8 for Canon Italy. For a nature photographer and video maker, Africa is a constant challenge. The infinite spaces, the colors, the incredible animals that live in these lands make every moment magical.
But when it comes to capturing these moments with a camera, everything changes, you need concentration, creativity and above all equipment to help you in this endeavor.
I tested the new Canon EOS R8 in every condition, from sunrise to sunset. The new very easy to handle and light mirrorless has a latest generation full frame sensor inside. The quality is amazing, especially in low light.
The most impressive thing is its speed, up to 40 frames per second with the electronic shutter, therefore incredibly silent.
With this shutter speed, it's not difficult to capture every moment in the movement of a lion or in the flight of a bird. The autofocus, with subject recognition, follows every movement of the subjects in both photo and video mode making this product perfect for anyone who wants to get great performance from a lightweight camera.
