I think being marketed towards truckers sheeting makes more sense. The rain doesn’t leave spots where I live, but if you drive everywhere you will get water spots from rain at times.

Rain will leave spits regardless, because you need a high volume of water to induce sheeting. It definitely makes sense when you wash and final rinse, as most truckers aren't hand drying the rig.

I see. I guess I should say the rain doesn’t make the more permanent spots down here in the South like it does in other places. Some people seem to be fighting them constantly. - Great content! Keep ‘em coming!

@Tommy Holt true about rain. It does not contain sediment like tap water, so it won't leave spots. However, a dry dusty area or pollen I'm the spring will settle on the water spots leaving spotting that can be washed away.

Great job! Have you thought about trying some of the rinse less products with protection like Wolfgang Uber Ceramic or McKee's 37 Graphene rinseless?

I believe I mentioned in the video, the initial water behavior you were seeing was the result of me not property cleaning the panel. There was a lot of oily residue. The soap cleaned that residue off and left a polymer behind that sheeted the water away as it should.
