Brings Back some memories of one of my High school cars, almost identical to the one i used to own. Did the turn signal indicators on the top of the fenders work, and the stripes on the hood and fender tops are not faded. It's not perfect and is in need of some tlc before it gets really bad but nothing that some patch panels won't fix. If I had the cash it would be sold already. Great video Nick, and always remember, life is always much easier when your pregnant wife is happy!!!!!

I had a 69 GTO 400 4 speed. CN/CP would hire me to pull freight trains on the weekend when their diesels would brake down! 400 is an afterthought if that's what you've got. In 69, you got a 383, a 440, or the very rare, 426 HEMI. If memory serves me correctly.

Mopar began casting the 400 blocks in 1971 for the 1972 model year. The 400 cu in (6.6 L) B engine was introduced in 1972 to replace the 383. The 400 had a bore of 4.342-inch (110.3 mm), which was the largest bore used in any production Chrysler V8 at the time of its introduction. The 400 V8 had wedge-shaped cylinder heads, a single camshaft, and a pushrod-operated valvetrain. It had a relatively low 8.2:1 compression ratio, producing 195 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque.

It had a lever under the dash that you pulled out opening the hood vents to suck in the cold air. If it was good luck finding the box for the hood. They dont exist. Great car nick.. B5 blue

Such a quality car but also weird that whomever owned it before let the trunk get to that state. Little seam sealer in the wheel well and a new trunk seal with it first started leaking would've prevented that rust and hole. Get the matt out of there too, traps moisture between it and the trunk floor.
