My best friend had this one in high school back in 1981. We caused a LOT trouble in that thing. a modified 400ci, 4-barrel, Cragers, 50's, traction bars and air shocks and cruise the drag and pick up races all night long.

In 1969 Pontiac had a 350 CI in the Firebird Esprit. The next step up was the 400 CI in the Formula 400. The trans Am had either the 400 or some came with the 455 CI.

Pretty sure no Espirit in 69. They also came with the 230 cu in overhead cam 6 cyl as well as 350 and 400

350HO, 330hp, 380 ftlbs tq. That was the next option up from a std 350 2bbl.

Guess I'm a camaro guy since I've owned three. But I've always really liked the 67-69 Firebird. Best thing about them, their not another 67-69 Camaro. Love the colors on this one. Just needs a built 400 and a 4-speed.

Another great piece of machinery I take it no problem in 30 days if I get the paint and the parts I put that car like new including the horn 📣 beep beep I take the gauges and replaced with a new computerized system like a computer screen everything included and a entertainment center with radio CD , road map , satelite signal tc. etc. etc.

I had to laugh at the tach moving with the shifter. My '69 did the same. That collar on the steering column turns as part of the locking steering column, same as if it was a column shift.

My VERY Favorite Car model, of ALL Time.. The *Pontiac Firebird*‼.. I've had 4 and Looking for my 5th One.
