I am a GM person but I've always had a thing for AMX and Javelins. Tough looking cars. I'd be a little concerned about the rust but that's to be expected on older cars. Love that paint and stripping. Power to weight on these are amazing. It should go quick. Thanks for the demo Nick.

Lovely AMX in a lovely light blue color. Love it. Glad to see this one as a stock, unlike with the highly modified AMX you previously featured.
@jcc777 Жыл бұрын
Probably the best value I have seen on a classic car in that good of condition I have seen in a while. Not only is it a car that will hold it’s own against a similar pony car of the era. The lack of initial popularity only adds to its rarity. Why would you want a Mustang or a Camaro similarly equipped where any car show you may take it to will have to compete with dozens of other carbon copies. When you could come in with something nobody else has.
@mastergunnerysgt1258 Жыл бұрын
This AMX is truly something you do not see every day. The body style is very cool a long with the Javelins. If you like this car before Chrysler took them over, you will never see this body style again. For the price will only go up. The rust is no big deal for we use steel to replace body parts and no bondo. For there are many good people though out the country that would do the same for you. So let the good times roll. Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC.

Awesome car and well worth the money. The only issue with AMXs is the parts can be tough to find. But this car has already been restored so a lot of the tough to find parts have already been replaced. I wish I needed a toy!

I looked at this car on Sunday and it's super nice it's clean and the body is in great shape I'm surprised its still there because it's not something you see very often like mustangs or Chevelle's .in my opinion whoever buys this one is getting a very nice AMC

Appears to be be in pretty good shape! Beautiful AMX! Wouldnt take much to get it right! Body and engine, wise. Seems, like a decent price. A little engine reseal or rebuild. Thats, minor. A labor of love. If it was near perfect, it would be $60-70,000.

Never been a huge fan of AMC, but this AMX is a real beauty and in pretty good shape. Plus I believe 1970 is the last year of AMX as a stand alone model, then on they were Javelin AMX.

It’s a rim blow steering wheel you have to pinch the surrounding steering wheel to make the horn blow . 360 is a dam shame cause that’s a very decent car likely 120,000 miles if the engine had to be replaced pice seems very reasonable for what you have . Nice find guys

Sorry, but that’s a leaking rust bucket of a car. Whomever tried to “restore” didn’t remove any of the rust, they just painted over it. The undercarriage is full of oil too. Usually the vast majority of your cars are pretty rust free and are priced great. Not this one, I’d pass. But like always, we appreciate your honesty. Someone with skills can definitely redo this AMX. But for someone who just wants an immediate classic to ride around without spending further money in it, this might not be the car for them…unless they don’t care about leakage and rust issues. Is the car rare enough to justify the price? It all depends. AMC is a love it or leave it model, The only AMC I’ve ever owned was a 1966 Marlin. It was kinda of an ugly looking car, but it was a four speed and was a great driver. Had it way back in the 90s. I sold it and bought a 240z. I also eventually sold the Datsun. Nowadays, I drive a 65 Mustang coupe restomod. Love your channel. 90% of your cars are awesome and offers the best prices of classics anywhere. 5 stars!
