If you dont like the whistle from the sniper, which you will get sick of it after awhile, just stick a 1 inch carb spacer under the sniper and its gone. Preferably an HVH Super Sucker spacer. Those seem to work best with the sniper, and it'll give you a little more low end torque too..

The Holley sniper will make it more responsive because it almost opens up to 80-100% throttle about 1/4 throttle of the pedel. It's fun like that but makes it hard to drive on a daily basis because you're burning rubber at lights when you don't want to. They sell an extension lever that smooths out the pedal.

Very nice car. It's a non-leaker. And that motor sounds good. Somebody stuck some money in this car. Fuel injection. and the $500 Bluetooth. stereo. The only downfall. No AC. But you could add that later. Vintage air. I'm sure has a kit. Some people don't like air conditioning But at my age, you need it.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌

Do we know if it was a factory column shift car, cause from 70 to 72 you could have gotten a automatic column shift malibu or Chevelle, but the SS package was floor shift only. But I did once see a 71 SS package Chevelle all factory and original with a bench seat and column shift. The original owner wanted it that way, less desirable at the time, but now it's odd and rare.
