The wiper blades are wrong. Those cars with hideaway wipers take a low profile blade to clear the cowl/hood....I have them for all cars and years.....

THAT is a awesome Impala...I’m probably one of the best lovers of the Impala in ANY year but my favorite is the 1964 Impala because I was born that year...but you’ve got the best card this side of the Mason-Dixon Line..but if you ever need a garage to park them just jump on the highway and come to Gaffney S Carolina and I’d be happy to welcome those impalas to my garage...just messing it that is a nice Impala and the windshield wipers would only take a min to fix..5 thumbs up on that one....

I was stationed at Chanute Air Force base. Love that car the air didn’t work A guy pulled some vacuum on the A/C added Freon fixed the Quadra jet for 25 bucks . 1976 of course ..

Nice car for the price. The dark blue paint is flat, shines really good and the body is straight also. Runs great, sounds just right and shifts great. Needs a little love here and there but I bet it will sell quick. I had a 69 that made that same noise, when you pulled in the lot, and it was the body bolts in the rear loose. I think a flatter type wiper blade will fix the issue with them catching on the hood. It looks like it has the type that has the red buttons you push in to release the blade and they set higher off the windshield than the stock ones. Is the floor mat under the gas pedal keeping it from going all the way down to engage the downshift? Just a thought. That's again Nick for another one of your honest evaluations.

Body so near perfect for me.. All the small repairs rant that bad easy fixes.. I see it has factory AC once by the small vents.. We had the 68 70 and 72 models .love these cars so easy to work on. All the parts it needs easy find online..down to one stearing wheel..gonna have me find this money this week end.. Gotta talk the misses into it. Dang...nice

If it’s a factory engine it’s a dandy good one. 1970 Impala and some 69 models had a air- gap center head ( round track racers covet them) it kept the fuel cooled vs the solid intake manifold, they had “ corvette “ style heads and very strong internals in the crank case. Also had a forward time cam grind. My father had a 4 door hard top . Sport in chrome on fender , corvette light mist green with dark green interior. He bought it from a church woman who had a bun in her hair. Somehow a hole got punched in the back fender about 1 inch round. Failed state inspection in 74 , she parked it and bought a nicer car ( May by Chrysler or Lincoln?) and never drove it. 24,000 miles when he bought it for 150$ bucks in 88/89? Had his mechanic rebuilt the carb to run on unleaded gas , put a new / used set of radials on it. It had Chevy rallies with caps n rings. Patched the hole with a piece of duck tape . Everything was almost like new . The 350 was easy on gas ( kinda) and very powerful. No ac no cruise manual window with floor vents . First time I was over 100 mph was in it” blowing the spider webs out of it” it shifted out of passing gear at almost 100 , he ran it almost out . The speedo was pinned on 125+ for a while when he slowly backed out , then let completely off the throttle. It seemed like forever before the speedo started coming down . He was smiling ear to ear , black hair and eyes shining when he looked at me and said “ son don’t tell your mommy I drove this cat 100 mph, she won’t let you ride to church with me tomorrow if you do, she may make me sell it if you tell her” I didn’t say a word . I was a good lad at 7/8?years old . But he did . Lol 😂. He told her we had it up to about 135/145 for a little bit. He drove that car 100 mph whenever it was clear and somewhat safe a lot. It liked to fly. He traded it about a year later for a 73 stepside 390 f100 2 pump shotguns a 30/30 rifle a homlight chainsaw and 400 boot . The boy who bought it made it about 5 miles before he totaled it . He was ok . He told dad , that car would fly for a little engine/ big car . He tried to take a curve a little to fast then wrecked. Looked just like this one. Only light green , 4 door coupe with no b pillar. . He was always preaching revival services back then . Kept a good church work car on the road most times. Sometimes he would drive over 2 hours to a hospital in the middle of the night to pray for someone who had a accident or took ill. Drive back home then work his day job 12 hours sometimes. 7 brothers and sisters 8 yunguns total . We never went without. He worked in construction and ran equipment, was a garbage man . Sometimes 3 jobs a day . Then drive all night to pray for someone in need while everyone else was sleeping. 2 hours 45 minutes of sleep a day for over 30 years. His heart gave out at 56 . Fine man of GOD. Big King looking man . Thick 2/3xl 300 lbs solid ( with a belly) hands hard as oak .. miss ol pap a man among men . That was my ol dad

I would make this car a custom, Buff out the paint to make it shine, I toss on some 22 inch rims with neon lights in sync with new boss system. I also seen these cars as low riders, but I would go with the bigger rims. Great price as this car will not last long on this car lot.

It shifted 2 times. From low into 2nd and then 3rd. A power glide would have only shifted once, from low to high. A turbo 350 probably since it has a small block. It shifted fast and hard enough to have a mild shift kit. I'm not knocking a power glide, they were pretty much bullet proof, but this one is not. If this was a big block car it would have the turbo 400, which is also a 3 speed but heavier duty. I had a power glide in a 64 Chevelle. It was a 283, 4 barrel and I would run it up to 80-85 mph before shifting it out of low gear. I once had a bad right shoulder and reached over with my left to shift it out of low and it went clear into reverse and I had the pedal to the metal. The car jumped up in the rear and killed the engine. It ripped both engine mounts loose but never hurt the power glide at all.

In 70 the 2 speed Powerglide and the 3 speed Turbo Hydramatic were offered with the small block 350. 70 was the last year 2 speed Powerglide was offered.
