@@ricktaylor3748So in other words, you don't know much about cars. The 1971 Buick Riviera is a REAR wheel drive car weighing about 4300 lbs depending on optins. A 1300 lb weight was NOT a factory option by the way. In base trim is went through the 1/4 mile in about *16* seconds depending on options, and 0-60 in about *8.5* seconds. In GS trim the car weighed roughly the same, had the same drive wheel layout, and went from 0-60 in a little over 7 and a half seconds. It got about 13 mpg. Engine size alone does not determine fuel efficiency. No-one reading your comment has gained any intelligence from it and is in fact dumber for having read it. May God have mercy on your soul.

You were pretty funny trying to buckle the seat belt and then just flipped the armrest down. I've got a 71 Riviera and the small buckle is for the lap belt and the big buckle is for the shoulder belt. I use them and does take a couple of seconds to get buckled up but safety is paramount.

Don’t care for that protective strip someone put on the side. It really detracts from the looks. Hopefully they were glued on. Sometimes they actually drilled holes to install them. Those were popular at the time unfortunately. Otherwise a nice boat tail.
