Man! I had to fix one of these in my second level of auto body school. Three of us welded and patched and sanded everyday for about a month. I put three large metal patches in the passenger front fender alone, my buddy Moe rebuilt the lower half of both quarter panels.There were no patch panels supplied , we had to hand fabricate them. We painted it solid light blue with semi-gloss black in the same areas this one has. Probably the only difference is that the one I had to fix had black rear window louvres. After we fixed it and it went out the door, we started referring to Mustangs as "Rustangs".

I used to daily drive a 70s firebird with ALOT of the same little issues you pointed out here, and 9 million percent of the time it was a vacuum signal problem. Heater door flaps, etc. That and old corroded wiring harnesses. But absolutely nothing beats that flowmaster rumble from a stoplight. My T/A was a rotten shitbox and all it got was love from people at the gas stations. I kind of miss that thing :) I'm going to check out your website, maybe I'll stop down and pick something up

@billhinkle16533 жыл бұрын
Ford stupidly put the 351 with low compression, single exhaust, and 2bbl carb as the base engine. When you saw an SS camaro, it was the real deal. A Mach 1 could be tame, or real. Stupid marketing.
