Just a note for anyone with gauge problems on a Vette, most times if you add a ground lead from the instrument panel to the engine it will repair it. BTW- Beautiful Corvette!

Its usually the Bendix on the tach cable, or it disconnected, or the tach gear itself, those things are made out of pewter so they fail a lot.. on chevy anyway. You can tell this car didn't over rev to the point where it broke.. just by the way it sounds its good to go.

Had a 78 and loved it. They didn't have much power in those days but that was 70s. Beautiful car , good and reliable. Great 👍 job Nick, another winner. Maple motors wins again,

Nice review. It looks like that Vette has an L82 hi po engine. That's the better 350 engine. Horsepower is around 230.

if it wasn't a chevy that tach would be highly suspect but we know.. its a chevy.. happens a lot.. most this car would ever need beside tlc is an engine.. and we know vette owners they don't mind at all its a nice car for not a "whole lot" of money considering how great it looks overall.
