Had one just like that in the late eighties. It had the 305 with a 4speed, put a Hurst shifter in it! Same color, they must have made a bunch in that color! Had t tops and a nicer interior! Sold it and bought a nice boat, met a nice girl boating and got married , we had a child and the rest is history! Married 29 years! You brought back some memories with that Z28! Thanks for the video brother! Thoughts and prayers after that nasty storm to all that were affected by it!

Why do I love this car? Lol... I just watched the video of the maroon/candy apple red firebird esprit"dresses up TransAm, the 1978 or 77 TransAm with the gold snow flake rims, the silver 1981 TransAm that was absolutely beautiful! And the indiacpoulus Z28 as well. I'll tell u, we as your fans get hooked watching and I can only imagine how hard it's got to be to par with these cars. Even as a dealer. But, u do a great job man. I definitely enjoy watching your channel. 💯! I was born in the 80's and these cars have a special place in my heart. Like I've mentioned in comments before that my Father had a brand new 77 TransAm and he got my mother the Silver 79 TransAm brand new and his last TransAm was the 1993 Pontiac TransAm that he drove off the showroom floor, black with the dark charcoal leather interior. He said that his first brand new car was a dodge duster that was hunter green. Idk, u just do a great job at what u do. It's a dream job for many...lol. Definitely glad I'm subscribed to your channel and we're gonna make it out there one of these days. My cousin lives a few miles from Maple Motors. But, we live in Florida. And honestly my Father is in the Hospital at the age of 68 and we find out tomorrow if he's going to have heart surgery. Its been a rough week with him having to be there. But, he watches u with me. We just need some good oh Prayers. He was the one that told me that Maple Motors was close to there house. Which is my cousin Misty and he's visited with my uncle/his older brother out of 12 siblings...lol. My Grandma and Grandaddy had alot of kids...lol. I have 2 older brothers and a younger sister. Which we're all older. 32, 38, 43 and 44. I know, I'd probably over went this comment a lil far. But, you're a celebrity to me. So, please pray for my Dad. Thanks man

For the price, you have a running car. With a little investment, you have a very nice 3rd Generation Camaro that you can upgrade and fix on the cheap (this era has a lot of parts available on the internet.) A very nice-looking car to customize.

Although there are some dash light issues , this is a real nice Z. Mechanics Special , I see this one being an excellent starting point to restore or modify

I think the piece of paper over the oil pressure gage may be a shim that is part of the cluster assembly. We still own an 84 Camaro Z28 we purchased new. It also has a similar looking paper falling down over the oil pressure gage. Been this way for years, but not worth tearing the dash apart to fix!!!

I had an 83 brings back lots of memories, ill be honei...it was not fast, not a great year for a 305 V8 but...still fun car i retloved driving for about three years in the 90s

Holy cow, the price so cheap brings me back in time i bougth My first car chevy bel air 1954 powerglide back in 1970 a 100. Dollars 💵, took a year to get her legal but wow wow absolutly cool car, this baby is a treasure 😊😊😊😊😊thanks Nick stay cool great video, glad you and your loved ones Are All well and safe 😊😊😊😊

It needs a little love, but at the price you're selling it at, it's a steal. The reason the check engine light it on is because the previous owner basically deleted the computer by putting an aftermarket 4 barrel carb on it lol

The horn may not work because you unhooked the wipers. They may be on the same ground circuit

Nice price and car. I wonder if the cardboard is to prevent the Speedo from going around in circles? It just stops there? Praying for Hendersonville and the people affected by the storm.

I’m a sucker for 3rd gens. Had 2 89’s in the past. Not fast by any means but compared to other cars from that period they felt like they were on rails in the turns. Fun cars

It's refreshing to see....it's a fun nice car but those are like 150hp 5.0ls lol (I owned an 83), I see people trying to sell Camaros like this for 13k around here all the time it's insane

Decent original car at a fair price, good car to build up. That 305 sucks, but with some headers and a better cam it can be pretty fun, but a 350 replacement is pretty easy to come by.

I work for the Corp at Rockland, and the inside is just god awful. One of their major areas that are kept with fencing and an electronic gate is all torn away, with most of Rockland's trees either unrooted or sideways, powerlines down, shelters being unstable, etc.

This would be a restomod project. Not much needed, just iron out the kinks and work the interior over. Put some nice wheels on there. Yep, this would be great as a Iroc Z clone.

Get rid of it!! It definitely doesn't fit anywhere among them badd ass cars ya all got. Not trying to be a a$$ but being real you all have some amazing cars. I just bought a 1982 z28 Camaro has side pipes slap shift 454 aluminium heads highrise intake 610hp roller motor. Red black stripes running on $100 for 5 gallons 110 race fuel..

For 6k this thing is a piece of junk. I spotted about a dozen big things wrong with it and who knows how many minor issues. Its only reddeming quality is the power windows, power trunk release, and it was repaint half decently
