Personal history: I owned a 1999 Nissan Frontier (regular cab, no frills.) and it was bullet-proof. I sold it because I no longer needed a small truck bed. I reluctantly sold it at 160k miles and ZERO (just oil changes and the periodic maintenance) issues. These Frontiers are literally the equivalent to a Tacoma when it comes to great reliability. I don't miss it because I have another reliable vehicle, but that thing will be running well after the apocalypse.

Absolutely, My father gave me one of these Frontiers from the 90s with 175K miles on it. It lasted until 250K miles when my then girlfriend (now wife) hit some ice and wrapped it around a telephone pole. With the extended cab section bashed in and the thing totaled it still made it home. The truck never needed any maintenance throughout its life other than the usual items. This truck will be a great little worker for somebody.

I like the new Frontier's...they look sharp. A great thing about Frontier's too is the fact they are the last midsize truck left that has a V6 and is naturally aspirated

The first year of this body style. Built in Smyrna, tn . At the nissan manufacturing plant. Built like a tank. Those nissans have excellent air conditioning. I've worked at the nissan manufacturing plant for 30 years. That is all I drive. Love the dependability of Japanese vehicles. That truck looks pretty clean under body. 😊

Very nice small truck. It should sell quickly. My only question: Is the fuel tank leaking where the filler tube goes into the tank. It looked like it was from the under carriage shots.

Hey Nick, great change of pace on this one! No one will comment how it has a boat anchor 305 or 307, bitch about the price, or how so many things don’t work (hey, cold AC, horn works… cant complain!). And it’s equipped with a millennial anti theft device 😂😂😂. Wishing you and the team there continued success!

I had one of these as well - a 1995 regular cab - towed a flats boat around with it no problem. Only issues I had was the motor for the windshield wiper fluid pump was built into the fluid container which eventually got brittle and cracked from the heat here in Florida and it was $300 to replace the whole assembly. No complaints though sold it with over 200K miles on it for $1,500 (which was more then the dealer was offering for trade in at the time). Now I'm looking at one just 3 years newer for $7K. My how the $ has devalued.

@@jaya.0069 , I'd say late 90's to be fair. I've seen some nice 4 cylinder trucks go for less than that pre-pandemic too though. Just really depends on who's selling it and what their situation is and why they are selling it
@skathappenz4 ай бұрын
@@jaya.0069 , I mean, You have to think too that the guy probably put some money into that Frontier to get it to be right and you have to be fair and think that if it was you selling it and you paid a few thousand dollars for it and turned around and put a few more grand into it you would wanna make a little something off of it so you can upgrade

The 90's Nissan trucks were very well made. They were also made in Japan not Mississippi. Nissan as a brand has gone way down hill.
