Aside your remarkable job reviewing the plane there're a couple of strange things I noticed during your deperture's climb-out phase and even stranger during your approach and short final.I own and fly the Turbo Arrow III in real life (you can see the real thing SX-AKG on my chanel) so,trust me,I know first hand. Trying to fly a Turbo Arrow climbing this way (39 inch MAP continuously and full RPM-that's almost 100% power) all the way up to 7K feet you'll definitely burn your engine in a matter of minutes and long before you reach that altitude.Piper's POH clearly states to reduce power almost immediately after departure @75%(2450 RPM @ 33inch MAP) at the most, otherwise your CHT will reach its peak (and wont stay there!) in a matter of minutes especialy in warmer climates.Only Intercooled STC'd planes can actually do this and even these with extreme caution.Of course you said the other time trying to do this you set your engine ablaze however this is something should have happened quite earlier. Secondly,TCM (Teledyne Continental Motors) POH clearly states that when climbing power is set and a climbing is executed no mixture lean is allowed nor required for the particular type of engine all the way up to the top of climb.However I saw your mixture lever significantly pulled back during the specific phase of your flight and nothing happened.Turbo Arrows climb power requires Mixture:Full rich. And how about level flight?39inch.MP delivers 119KIAS?ONLY?At a setting like this and @7.ooo feet Turbo Arrows traveling around 135-140KIAS!C'mon guys this isn't a normally aspirated C172/182 it's a Turbo Arrow for God's sake! But most incorrectly of all implemented into the flight model and simulated is the approach behaviour!There's absolutely no way, and I say NO WAY, for a Turbo Arrow to descent like this,especially on final.The approach speed is more or less correct as well as the rate of descent but the MP setting is way out for that approach speed and rate of descent!Should 28-35inch.MP is set during the descent and a stable rate of descent of 500feet/min.a KIAS of at least 120-130-135 will be more likely to be the outcome of such power/attitude setting.Conversely,for the KIAS/rate of descent you used,your engine settings should normally be:Prop lever full RPM/all way forward,mixture full rich and MP 18-22inch maybe even lower.At 30-38inch MP we are at 65-78% power and we see the plane descent comfortably in a perfect approach speed and rate,how is this possible?She's a very powerful aircraft and the slightest throttle advance (even as little as 2-3 inch.MP)is capable of braking even the steepest descent in a matter of seconds keeping that VSI where we want it to be at any time. I believe there are some very basic things definitely need to be changed inside the aircraft's configuration file to accurately simulate the real Turbo Arrows and behave similarly as much as possible to such a magnificent aircraft like she is in the real life.Graphics and visual model on the other hand looks stunning and as much accurate and realistic possible!

I have turbo arrow iv. It's very good comment
@valuacionesprofesionalesgu992 Жыл бұрын
Completely agree with the comment. And unfortunately for the MSFS 2020 version, JustFlight did not correct this anomaly. It is very curious but there have been very few youtubers simmers, almost none, who claim to be experts in turbos, who have pointed out this defect in the model of the turbo version of the PA28. Same for the Carenado 182T, which is poorly designed.

Did you have any issues installing the gtn750 into the plane? I can see the gtn in the top of the screen under the stack text< but cant seem to get it into the cockpit dash.

hey Shane mate hope all is well. More great vids. So I have the A2A Cherokee and Comanche How do these fly in comparison ? Other than slightly different cockpit layout. Do you find you fly the A2A or these just flight more ?
@AusFlightSimmer7 жыл бұрын
+Steve Philipson Im flying the a2a more at the moment, as its in V4 ready. They both fly really good. I did a 3 part review on the arrow at Fselite youtube channel. That review should give you a good indecation on how well it flys. Hope that helps.

Nice video & looks like a great plane ...flew one of these back in the day so looking forward to it. Question ...why do you have the prop & mixture back like that?
@AusFlightSimmer7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. To be honest, looking back, I have no idea why it was in that position.
@usflyer20087 жыл бұрын
LOL Fair enough! Pretty capable airplane, but you had to watch engine temps - it has no cowl flaps so climb rates on a warm humid day had to be monitored. It's also a tail-wagger, could really have used a yaw damper in choppy air. On the plus side, it's economical, pretty fast for its HP, can fly high if needed for weather and the rear seats can be reclined some which made it quite comfy for pax on longer hops. Great representation of it by the looks of things ... you show it well.

Yes. I purchased it yesterday and did a flight with it. I need to learn how to use the paint kit so I can create a version that looks like the Warrior I flew back in the 1970's.

Wow! FSX really looks so fake after getting use to XP11. Been with FSX for years and years, and other MS flight sims before it. But I switched over to XP a couple of years ago, and have never even thought about going back. The Just Flight Arrow III looks ten times more realistic in XP11, than this does here. FSX looks like a cartoon to me now. Unbelieveable!!!
@AusFlightSimmer7 жыл бұрын
Not FSX, its P3D. The arrow looks 10X better in FSW too with PBR... Either way JF have done a great job with this video. Thanks for stopping by and checking the video out. :)
