As an owner of a very low mileage and mint condition 405 BHP MK2 RS I can say that this is certainly an easy car to daily drive, if you can cope with the fuel bill then go for it! It’s an occasion each time I get in the thing and drive anywhere. Many occasions where I’ve just been sat in traffic grinning like an idiot. You’ve been videoing these cars for years including massive coverage of Rich’s RS, just get rid of that boring X6 and get the car everyone and yourself knows you love! 👏🏻👏🏻✌🏻

What fuel bill a week would it use as looking to buy the green rs buddy as a daily to work and fun on weekends at the moment I got a bmw 330i petrol e92 2008 cost me £50 a week

Matthew Ramsey so I’m rather lucky as I only live close to my location of work but if you foot flat it will drink, but all in average I would say you’d be use to that type of fuel consumption given your other cars. But I’m always of the opinion that fuel economy should not be a factor of buying an RS. I get an overall average of 24mpg which I can’t complain about

Richard Bourne all about tyres, I have pilot sport 4 s’s and I get no slip, lays all the power down very nicely.

just buy it. The grin on your face says it all. I had a smile from ear to ear everytime i sat in the seat of mine. Was running 420BHP, so not far of that and was just awesome!!! The sound, the power delivery, everything. Oh and the MPG wasnt too bad. with a heavy right foot around town, it drinks it up quick, but on a journey i would get 30ish to the gallon. JUST BUY IT!!!!

Have a megane rs at the moment and i love it.. still for some reason miss my fiat coupe 5 cylinder turbo though. Think I'll be having one o theese one day. Anyone know what bov that is? Having drove a couple of these mk2’s, I love the standard steering wheel. Nice and thick and just has a really good feel to it. The wheel in that one looks terrible!

100% get the RS. They are like B E A UTIFUL Car and all the others lack character. a lot of cars can put a smile on your face but not all can make you go silent. Shows you that you are just at one with the car enjoying it

The magic of Pete at dpc. I’m revo stage 4 and Pete and ant know how to set the revo software perfectly. My Car is so usable now compared to the previous map and the throttle mapping is perfect. Can only imagine what an extra 80ish bhp is like 😳

Love my mk2, i use it as both a show car and a daily. Its tuned to 420bhp and thats enough i reckon for a daily. You will find it a great day to day motor and when you want that fizz moment it will deliver....everytime....

I own a mk2 st running 310bhp and love driving it, just want to drive it every were, the sound the performance who cares about the fuel bill you don't buy one of these if your worried about fuel. Get one and enjoy

I own a 330hp st mk2 in white the ONLY downside to driving it daily is the fuel consumption there hasn’t been one day where I have got bored of the car but £20 a day in fuel does get tedious, buy a rs a few of your friends own one they can help you with parts etc it’s a no brainer!

Don’t like the steering wheel, you need the short quick release hub , you have to take your hands of the wheel to reach the indicators , and the wheel is far to close to you , your arms should be straight when you put your wrists on the wheel 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

Think IOW take over, more content with Rich Fox make the most of you connection with Ford Mania also the mk2 RS is a halo car for this generation and being able to claim you have been able to upgrade the car to that very magical figure of 500 BHP with not much work to do, and just watching the vid I was thinking it is mostly a blank canvas apart from the bonnet and a camo wrap with FYD branding to match that jacket would be very cool in my opinion also sell the plate for mods and put the boss plate on it and use cash for the personalisation to make it you own that's my opinion best of look with your next purchase keep up the great content Also from observation the emotions you felt in this compared to the other cars is incomparable you were actually speechless at one point Haha
