Jeremy Kyle no its the fact hes hitting full boost in a low gear.its hitting redline and so quick that its bouncing off the limiter you tool.car would be squeeling like a bitch if it was wheel spinning with 670bhp,cars set up with a top limited slip diff and a nice set of super sticky tyres not some cheap shit from kwik fit,do you even have license or car,or driven owt thats over 90bhp.

The new RS is shit. I hate it. I get that new technology is good. But ditching the 5 cylinder for a 4 with a shitty turbo and fake exhaust noises. The noise and feel of that 5 cylinder is superior to that crap 4 pot. Ford would of shifted way more examples. People who buy the new Focus over the old one obviously don't know much about cars. And yes I understand why for did it and yes the new one has loads of tech. But a real drivers car is about the raw engine/car/driver combination

Yeah I understand where you’re coming from but the new RS is absolutely magnificent round the twisties, being an owner of the MK3 but I do have friend who I couldn’t get away from in a MK2 but his was running meth and revo stage 4+, the straights he left me for dust but the corners is where it really pulls through. MK2 sounds better and looks better and in my opinion feels better, but for absolute speed I would choose the MK3.

There seem to be plenty of people who assume fwd cars can't put the power down on big bhp builds. I've had people with this opinion in my car and all of them changed there opinion after a drive out ☺

rayner1704 I agree that a lot can't but done right they can. As for spending 20+k on cars i've done that myself and it doesn't happen in one big hit, not for me anyway as i need to put hours in at work. Then i go for the next part/mod etc. for the price of a 4wd conversion i could run a sequential box and have change to maybe change to a bigger turbo with the same spool up or even less lag (depending on choice of ratio) and i believe this would give far more of a performance gain, plus give far less headaches/gremlins. This is actually my next (and last!) big spend on the car. Shame a lot of people don't actually believe any big fwd hp application can put the power down, maybe a lot of it is down to people just chasing figures instead of driveability???
