I also see some Bugatti Chiron references at the rear end. The overall shape of the tail when the Active Rear Spoiler is mounted and is at its "Down" position, the rear diffuser and the exhaust tailpipes design on the GT/GTs/GTx versions plus the taillights and taillight bar in their Clear version, like we see them here. Plus the side air vents are inspired by the Ferrari 488 GTB. And in the Dark Owl variant, the orange shark fins above the engine look like those on the Bugatti Gran Turismo concept of ca. 2016. Overall, the Civetta Scintilla is an amazing looking car! 💗🤘
@jakosloth2 жыл бұрын
Also the front end in general has a McLaren MP4-12C/Corvette C8 look going on imo Also the interior is just basically the C8's
@McBeamer942 жыл бұрын
@@jakosloth I also forgot to mention the GT/GTs/GTx Rear Valance Panel, which is a large grille stretching from the one taillight to the other and including them too (not like we see here, with the GTs Corse Rear Valance Panel) - it further enhances the Bugatti Chiron references of the rear end. And the flying buttresses are inspired by the 2016 Ford GT. But it all somehow blends together to make a completely original vehicle! This mix of real and imaginary is amazing and, personally, this is why I love BeamNG cars! 💗🤘
@Xpertgamingtech2 жыл бұрын
@@McBeamer94 Well said. BeamNG taking inspirations from IRL cars and making their own. Looks so good. Better than a lot of supercars IRL in my opinion. And it sounds just like a Huracan. I just wish the game was easier to run. I was struggling to get decent frame rates at 4k with normal quality settings even with a 3080ti
@McBeamer942 жыл бұрын
@@Xpertgamingtech Thank you very much! 💗🤘 Yep, I share the same opinion with you, the Scintilla looks amazing and it's actually better looking than many real-life Supercars. Most of them look overcomplicated for the OTT customers they want to satisfy but the Scintilla has a shape full of artful and subtle details. The flying buttresses, the way the C-Pillar and the engine cover are sculpted on the Spyder body, the classy tail, the simple front end with the subtle extractors on the cowl and the overall discreetly complicated ductwork of the face, even the fixed rear wing of the GTs Corse versions, they all look amazing. It's a real work of art this car! Tbh, my hardware is the absolute basic atm - a basic laptop is all I've got for playing BeamNG so performance is not the best, naturally. So, for now, I only admire the design of the car and the sounding fury of the (preferably NA and with a Race Exhaust) 5.0 V10, haha! My only wish is the car to get Active LSDs and soon. It needs them. At the moment, all road going versions have Open Differentials and it's not the best thing in the world. This is why your car spinned its rear wheels a bit while reversing in and out of the porch. And, from my personal experience with the AWD GTx models, seeing the TC intervening during launching is a bit frustrating - and that's after changing the standard All-Season tyres to the optional Sport Plus 2R ones! All this thanks to the Open Diffs! 🤣

That looked like quite a handful, especially the second half. The absence of any tyre sounds makes this car seem to be quite a slippery bugger. And Beam has quite a ways to go in terms of environment rendering. Distant objects constantly popping in (and curiously also out) of existence and the way the road surface appears to move in all manner of directions at certain speeds is mighty distracting.
@dylanwakley25532 жыл бұрын
To be fair the road movement is just KZbin compression
@c0ldc0ne2 жыл бұрын
@@dylanwakley2553 Nah, I don't see it in any other videos. Start at 5:20 and focus on the road surface. At the 5:24 mark, it abruptly starts to move slowly in the opposite direction. And again at 6:21. That's no video compression.
@Xpertgamingtech2 жыл бұрын
@@c0ldc0ne Yes, I've noticed the same when playing. But to be honest it's only that bridge that had this texture movement, weird... And regarding the object poping, it's my graphical settings. I had to reduce pretty much everything except the anti-aliasing and I was running at 4k. The devs have to optimize the game better in my opinion. I was struggling to get decent framerate hence I lowered the quality settings.
@c0ldc0ne2 жыл бұрын
@@Xpertgamingtech Agreed. With the kind of setup you are running, you shouldn't have to dial down your settings at all, much less to to the point where drawing distances are reminiscent of a bygone era. And it's not just a matter of performance either, as I'm also seeing some odd glitches that shouldn't occur regardless of graphic fidelity, like distant speed signs that are overlaid with "00" until you approach them.
@KristisG2 жыл бұрын

The track version of this car is probably the best sounding car in the game. Absolutely glorious. Definitely give that a few revs in chase. I remember getting BeamNG on a whim about a year ago. I'd heard it was a physics engine with some cars in it. I'd seen some videos of people driving stuff off cliffs and around blank test grids. So I was genuinely amazed, my jaw dropped, when I started exploring the sheer amount of content in the game. It's absolutely mad, and the devs maybe haven't done the best job of communicating how full and HUGE BeamNG is. The open world maps! I clicked on Italy, I remember, when I first got it and just drove around with my mouth open. It's so, so huge, and the graphics are so much better than I expected. And that's just one of the maps. There are about seven or eight of the most fully featured, enormous open world maps in the game, all with different kinds of roads, all with decent, consistent(if simple) graphics, all with AI traffic, and even AI pursuers if you want. There are endless different challenges and missions. There are a STUPID number of default cars if you take into account the many different editions of each car. It's absolutely bananas how much is in the game. I still prefer Assetto, by quite a bit, when it comes to the actual feel of tarmac driving(especially drifting). But BeamNG is still an incredible, ongoing achievement with almost limitless potential.

Its the most realistic driving simulator
@thesprawl23612 жыл бұрын
@@legogringooo6465 I think the handling and driving-feel physics in Assetto are still better, but I can see BeamNG overtaking it pretty soon, if they keep updating like they have been. Whereas AC gets no Kunos updates and AC2 is still just a distant blip on the horizon. I feel like Kunos don't realise how much potential AC has to become absolutely enormous, a proper mega-seller.
