My company used to work out of the shop directly behind this guy. Id see him building some crazy ass Crown Vic Baja Monster contraption and the thing looked mean. It just work out that way, a lot of development going into the front. Rear was "easier" but a lot more labor intensive and a lot more money in parts than front will be

Does the person plan on off-roading at all? Or have you moved all the fuses and modules? I have a SVC built raptor at my shop with fiberglass and no fender liner and he comes back every weekend for new abs modules. Seems stupid to spend so much money then get cheap when it comes to the important stuff

For the uneducated/new overlanders. Overlanders need to pay attention to the rock Crawlers and real offroaders. They already have this stuff figured out. They build their vehicles to last and robust. Build your vehicle to be robust on the trail before you buy glamping gear. This my recommendation.

Did you hear the part where I said “we’ll we don’t live in the desert” also you can tell a lot about handling of a vehicle by driving it on the street. I’ve had some piles I’ve worked on in the past the handled poorly on road that would just be that much worse off road. Also talking about a sway bar on the street gives you a good feel on how it will handle. Either way we’re gaining knowledge and understanding about vehicle dynamics.
