I know you commented a while back, but what is needed to lift the tacoma 6" other than the lift kit?
@state48overland4 жыл бұрын
Cutting the 2” off the flare is the easy part right? It’s when you cut the 2” on the metal fender underneath you will have some choice words. Also. Think about how to anchor those flares. The fender clips and cheap plastic housing around them will eventually fail from wind drag and full stuff. If you cut the rear beside the same. Think about making some bedside support brackets and lock them flares down. I’ll send picks of my truck. Dm you on TW tomorrow for how I sorted mine.

looking sweet. I would like some insight and opinion on a few items that i have been wanting to do. I was trying to find a message board to send the inquires but i guess this will do for now. The stock fenders on the side above the tires, are small but decent looking. I went the easy route and Spray Dipped it to black, My down fall is that its not shinny, but for the first time, it looks ok. I am not looking for huge fenders, because I have 265 -65 -17 Cooper. I know now that I wanted to get a bigger size and dealing with the side fenders, they match or look in proportion. If I were to put something like yours, It would look out of place. I wanted to find a fender that is maybe about the same size as the truck or a size bigger. Can you offer some suggestions and do you have a video on how to change the fenders from stock to a different size?
