When it comes to private jets, the Pilatus - 24 stands out BIG time due to all the outstanding features it comes with. For many years the PC - 12 was my "dream plane" until this baby arrived. As a pilot, it is on my bucket list. BIG thanks to Captain Matthew Hartkop for great presentation of the various systems and more. Also BIG thanks to Mr. Sam Chui for making this video possible. You sure have some great contact in your sleeve. Made my day !

P-24 and Phenom 300E
@dwaynesykes6944 ай бұрын
PC-24 has unique utility, but Phenom 300E is substantially faster and cheaper both to purchase and to operate. Both have approximately the same range. If Honda can actually achieve claimed numbers for the Echelon (formerly known as HondaJet 2600), it'll likely depress the value of the Phenom 300E, but the PC-24's unique utility should help it hold value. If I had $14 million burning a hole in my wallet, I'd drop it on the PC-24. More than ~2000nm range in a light jet isn't of great utility in my opinion for the same reason more than ~3.5 hours of range in an electric vehicle isn't terribly useful, folks need to use the restroom and light jet lavatories aren't terribly comfortable and private.

This was a fantastic vlog Sam. I think that anyone who is scared of flying would feel comforted by this video, as the test pilot is explaining everything that is going to happen so you can anticipate it in your body, rather than stuck back in your seat feeling turns, assent, descent and changes in engine noise etc and wondering if it’s normal. Thanks again.

Sam, thank you so much for making and sharing this video!!! This is no doubt one of your best flight reports. What a beautiful airplane! As a former aeronautical/aerospace engineering student, I understand and truly appreciate all the maneuvers that the test pilot performed. Besides, the test flight was conducted against the backdrop of the beautiful Swiss Alps -- Switzerland is one of my favorite countries in the world, which I have visited several times. Given my background, I must say that this is the video in your collection that I enjoy the most so far.

By far, the best PC-24 video out there. There were just so many "wow" moments for me watching, all the way up to the end when ground ops advised at being roughly 3200' MSL. (Initially I didn't believe him, suspecting he may had confused feet for meters--nope!) In my neck of the woods (CO), you would need to be at about 9000-10,000' to have terrain like that. I hear how challenging Aspen is to land out (I've witnessed the aftermath of a G IV that faltered) but I dare say Gstaad seems way trickier with much narrower and shorter valleys. Anway, great video; thanks for letting me live vicariously through you on this one! 😁😁😁

Enjoyed this video very much . Such a refreshing change from your usual offerings in the palatial surrounds of Premier class cabins , which most of us will never travel in , however , “ extreme G forces” it was not . 2 G hardly justifies that description , but I suppose it entices viewers and ultimately dollars in your pocket. Your reaction to the bank angle was definitely worthy of an Oscar .
