This PARKSIDE angle grinder is housed in a paper box that, while sturdy, handles the weight of the angle grinder very heavily. Unfortunately, don't expect a carrying case here, although it would be really handy.

The 2000W angle grinder itself has a really long cable of 4 m. Although the grinder is not one of the heaviest on the market, it does carry itself well in the hand with the included protective cover.
Of course, for safety reasons, the use of protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and ear flaps is a must, even though the angle grinder exhibits a standard noise level.
An important accessory of the angle grinder is the wheel cover, which is wide, which can be a bonus when using, for example, a wider polishing wheel. Thanks to the locking button, the tilt position of the cover can be adjusted very quickly and easily.
However, the disc cover is heavy and its locking and locking is not ideal as it has quite a lot of play even when locked.
What is very good, however, is the swivel handle, including its rubberized grip, which helps the angle grinder grip better. The swivel handle can be locked in three different positions very simply by turning it while pressing the lock button.
When changing the position of the swivel handle, it is also necessary to readjust the screw handle, which is really good quality, practically rubberised and very easy to hold.
Don't look for any cutting or grinding wheel in the basic package, as at such a low price, there simply wasn't enough of this accessory. Definitely reach for quality when choosing 230mm diameter wheels. Replacing the blade is very simple and with the help of a mounting wrench and locking button, it will take you about a minute. However, the arrester button does show a slight play.
The control switch with the angle grinder lock is easy to actuate and there is no jamming of the lock either. Slow start-up is standard and it is only rarely that the angle grinder kicks in during start-up. The Flexa allows restarting before it comes to a complete stop.
The power of 2000 W is borderline with this angle grinder, as it already slows down slightly under heavy loads, and is therefore more ideal for hobby cutting. Long-term heavy loads are definitely not recommended, also because of the slight heating of the body. Sometimes, for example, when cutting concrete, when the angle grinder sucked in a large amount of dust from the material being cut, an unpleasant smell similar to a so-called burning engine could be smelled. Although the angle grinder was still working on the larger cutting of dusty material we certainly did not see this.
But it is important to note that Parkside provides a superior 3-year warranty on its tools and this is certainly not something that every manufacturer can boast of, so in case of failure you are entitled to a replacement.
