We're back to more digging and trail building at The Playground. This is the first time riding the new side line which is so fun and flowy, with the biggest race jump, epic berms and we build a new step up dirt jump for tricks which is super cool. It was awesome to see Jamie and Ben ride the line too although Ben had a bad crash. Enjoy the time lapses, build lapses and epic FPV drone shots of this ever changing backyard trails spot! Next we build the dirt pipe!! Legends

Hey Matt, when you mentioned the pyramids being one of the seven wonders of the world, it made me think, how about building a 'pyramid' jump somewhere? A tabletop with four sides. It could be like a crossroads of two jump lines. Just imagine how sick it would be to get a train of riders alternately jumping it from each line! 🔀

Hey Matt, As you were speaking about possible future drainage issues, I can't help but give you a piece of advice. Find the lowest point of the playground and make that the water collection point for a system of landscaping draintile that pulls water away from all the low spots in the jump lines. You will have to dig trenches and use a large spirit level to make sure you get a good slope on the draintile, but it will be well worth it and you'll have your own water supply after it rains
@jchrizzy6995

Would be so cool if they made proper aqueducts and waterways, even just in clay
@NoCoBandit
@NoCoBandit 2 жыл бұрын
@@jchrizzy6995 What I'm talking about would involve filling the trenches back up with sand or something more porous than clay and compacting it so everything still looks natural, but it also still safe while directing water away from the jumps. Decent idea though!

A tube level is what he needs. And fill the trenches with corrugated drainage tube and fill with 12mm gravel and then re surface.

*IDEA*: You guys should build a little “hangout area” called the 19th Hole (usually the nickname of the bar/restaurant that golfers hang put after their round). After you had a session on the golf course themed playground, you could chill out in a little place that maybe has some space to hang out with a fridge that has drinks like red bulls. Just a thought. Love the content!

I think you should build a quarter pipe after that step up, then take the step up as a step down and then build an angled landing on the other side of the mainline ( could be cool for tabletops ). Maybe after that kinda hip jump, you could connect the line to the vertical berm, but you won't enter at a great angle in it

Make like a half pipe like you did in episode 7. Do it at the end of the track to the right. When you jump over the other track, you can use the next jump to jump to the right and go back to the other track. That would look sick and then you can continue on the golf-course line.

The top of the step up should lead in a little muster area/ hangout spot. Could put a bench there or some seating so that people could hangout and watch from there while they're riding. Then it could lead into some new trails as it seems to be a bit of a high point in the playground. Also allowing for a start or turn around (maybe throw in a 180 berm) to hit the step up line backwards!
